  1. Not sure, have we ever been above Hibs before?
  2. As 2007 comes to a close, I couldn't help bu think what a rollercoaster ride this season has been. Lets look at the facts Our captain leaves Our top goalscorer leaves We add another stand to our stadium (small though it is) One of our players is convicted of possession of an illegal substance Marius arrives in the biggest transfer this club has ever been involved with Barry Robson gets a Scotland cap (We have to take a **** of alot of credit there) We go seven games without a win We plummit to the bottom of the SPL Our manager and cult hero leaves the club We re-appoint Brewster to the helm We give another chance to an ex-player We sign one of the worst goalkeepers in SPL history (who may yet come good) We dramatically beat Hearts in the last minute of the game to end our losing streak On the 29th of September we finally move off the bottom of the table Our own Denzil socres his 100th goal We lose in the quarter final of the CIS Cup We demolish both Gretna and Falkrik, suggesting that we will retain our SPL status this season Talk of un-rest among the players, Blackie and Rankin supposedly want out We win 4 games on the trot, beating the last of our relegation rivals and 3 of the top 5 teams in the SPL We give Celtic another memorable doing, Blackie and Rankin star We go into our game with hearts 2 points clear of them, with a possibility of jumping into the top 6 (something many of our fans ruled out after 4 or 5 games) Phew
  3. Which one was there a big 22 player mash up
  4. Surely after his awesome shift yesterday, McBain has finally been accepted by the doubters?
  5. Strachan is tactically clueless. I knew the game was won when Derek Riordan (a player I belevie to be the most technically gifted in scotland) an out and out striker, was deployed on the right.
  6. There were posts from people on this site saying he wasn't even that good and that he brought nothing to the team. These were posted after that Falkirk game last season. I never cared about the red card against Falkirk, the direspect to the club and the manager he showed when he threw the shirt down was downright shocking, and I still beleive that a player with that sort of attitude should be dealt with severly. Very few said he wasn't good enough, but at that time Black was in the poorest form he'd ever shown since coming to caley (he was dropped a few weeks after the falkirk game) and really wasn't bringing anything to the team. Black got the good kick up the backside he deserved, he is now far superior to any other midfielder at the club, and has chanelled his agression in to a bite that few other players in Scotland.

    Granty

Was the difference today between our good preformances of the last few weeks and todays outstanding one. Also looks like he now knows how to be a captain and a top class defender at the same time. :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03:
  8. Did this ever get off the ground
  9. Good move, Holland at home on the last game, takes the pressure off, we colud be through by then
  10. I dont get it He got the ball :017: Sophia ----> :whip01: <---- Ian Black
  11. Anyone watch Horsham Swansea. Brilliant gem, pitty horsham couldn't do it.
  12. Have stayed in Aberdeen all my life. My old man stays in France though, and constantly raves about it
  13. Im sure Mee would be intersted :023: :023: :023: :023:
  14. I hope that wasn't supposed to be funny :029: As for McGeady out on the left, don't know what the situation is with Nakamura out, but he never plays on the left as thats Nakamuras spot
  15. I woyuld actually say that Wilson changes games, Bayne doesn't. Bare with me... Brewster got it spot on yesterday. 1-0 and Hibs are piling on the pressure, our defence is hoofing it up the park, and Marius is on his own (and lets face it, pace isn't his strong point) so the hibs defence merely picked up the ball and pinged it back up to their strikers. Brew introduces Bayne, a player with alot of pace, holds up the ball up well and is very strong, as an outlet for our defence. In conclusion, put Bayne on if you want the game to stay as it is.
  16. Apologies, I meant on his way here
  17. Looks like McGuires on his way Setanta And it appears that Zander will be staying after all

    WHY ?

Screw them, I bet they were none to chuffed when they discovered Brewster had scored a screamer in the last minute against hearts.
  19. Well done that man :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03:
  20. Nobody booed Dods? Oh yes they were. :017:
  21. Nobody booed Dods?
  22. A penalty against Celtic? Pah
  23. Tannadice = Worst barstewards anywhere in the SPL
  24. Proctor should keep his place. Imagine if we'd just let Golly stroll back into the team
  25. Agreed, you don't see intervews with Smith in the Record saying how close Brown is to the squad anymore (granted Smith is isn't in charge anymore :029:)
