  1. Poor tactics in the first half and showed Celtic too much respect. Better in the second half. Players have nothing to be ashamed of. I shall be watching from afar next season unless there's big changes in the dugout and off the park, but that's not on the players.
  2. Look forward to news of his departure on Monday....buh bye
  3. Our CEO is a proper media wh0re. Seen more of him on TV and the papers this week than we have the players. Grinds my feckin gears that the blue nose tw4t is talking about ICTFC being his club. Feck off.
  4. Push Shaw up front with Billy in the old Bayne kinda role.
  5. Ummmm....yeah!!!
  6. The Supporters Trust were obviously aware of the 'event' and on hand to present trophies. I'd have thought (hoped?) they might have had some objection, or were they happily bought off with an invite to this exclusive get together?
  7. Of course it's true, it was on the internet..duh!!!
  8. Agree with what you say about the club's lack of self promotion, but I'm pretty sure all these pensioners flooding in off the cruise ships don't give a toss about ICTFC.
  9. Are we?
  10. Yup, I recall Charlie Christie talking about how Pele had lumped on it at about those odds. Unusual for a man who didn't normally gamble
  11. It might be easier for the council (and others) to get behind the club if they were doing more themselves? There's been nothing other than requests to buy tickets and merchandise on social media. Where's the hype? In 2015 the players were out and about in the city visiting businesses, schools and community groups. There was fresh content in the papers every day. Everywhere you went there was something ICTFC related. The club have to be the catalyst for these things and not just sit back and expect everyone else to do it. The relationship with the fans and the supports trust won't be helping, and we're not seeing much support from corporates either despite that apparently being a big focus! Wonder why that is? Sorry to say it, but the club are reaping exactly what they have sown over the last few seasons and have nobody to point the finger at other than themselves.
  12. Agreed, they're more likely to have a leaning towards a big English or European club.
  13. You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours
  14. As much as I love that you thinking I'm CaleyD winds you up, I don't see why he should get all the credit! Aside from that, not sure he could jog on, even if he wanted to I thought 'Club's Pet Podcaster' was way nicer that 'Gardiner's Gimp', should I run a poll?
  15. There will be plenty of Celtic fans on the system from buying tickets in the home end over the years, so I can't see it making any difference, but the club need to be seen to try. I did contemplate buying my allowed 8 and selling them to Celtic fans to fund my trip down, but it would only be ICTFC fans who miss out/suffer, so decided against it.
  16. Have you not read what @Robert said above? This is not a designated bus, this is an enhancement to service...and even though the club claim to have worked closely with them on it, they can't be attributed to any aspects that may attract criticism
  17. Clear as mud. Our CEO intimates in his statement that we approached several companies, not that any of them approached us. Also there is no Inverness to Hampden service on any timetable to be "enhanced", so this is 100% a football special. My question on who is subsidising the concessions remains....state, or other service users? Another interesting thing I discovered was that CityLink do not own any buses, they own rights to routes and then franchise out the operation of them. If the Inverness to Hampden is a new route...needed to qualify for state funded concessions...then what was the tender process? Not sure what them having an advertising board at the club has to do with anything as they seem to have one at every ground. Quite a sensible place to advertise given the amount of travel football fans do as opposed to any form of special support/philanthropy towards us Are you sure tired and not just dizzy from all the spinning you're doing?
  18. To be clear, I have no objection to the transport concession system in this country, but those systems are intended for public transport and not exploitation by football clubs to try and win favour with fans. If they are not state funded concessions, then those paying full price are subsidising them. If they are state funded concessions then, IMO, that is worse and taxes are subsidising football travel. Also, as the link us public, then what's to say that half the people on them won't be Celtic Fans? I'm not looking for special treatment, just a fair and level playing field where fans are not being ripped off to fill holes in club spending that are a result of jobs for the boys, badly thought out projects and utter incompetence. If ourselves and Falkirk could charge half the price and do well from a partially full Hampden in 2015, then the only argument for the prices this year is greed.... pure and simple.
  19. IN FAIRNESS if they hadn't ****** around with the kick off time, then it would have been far less of an issue. ....and bloody bravo for concessions who are being subsidised by the rest of us. Sorry for ranting at you, but our club...and the game....are going to **** and the apologists are doing sod all but enabling them.
  20. That's me priced out of attending... Scottish Cup Final Ticket Prices South Stand – Adults: £45, Concession (Over 65s/U16s): £25, Accessible: £20, Accessible Concession: £12 West Stand: Adult: £35, Concession (Over 65s/U16s): £20, Accessible: £15, Accessible Concession: £12
  21. That would half our crowds!
  22. £62 return
  23. There's always hope, until there's not
  24. I'm sure the club will communicate and clear it all up soon
