  1. So it's looking like walk up prices for adults in main stand will be around £25, or season tickets will be poor value for money.
  2. Another wee nod to the empire from the club?
  3. According to this information from CaleyD then, unless anything has changed, the Supporters Trust have the second largest voting right.
  4. Maybe a loan deal, or his contract has a release clause allowing him to go if a club at a certain level comes in for him, or his registration with Aveley didn't complete for some reason?
  5. Tom Walsh was not given an extension after injury. He signed for 2 years in 2021. Duke didn't say unfair, he said uncaring, and that was in reference to the club not demonstrating any public well wishes on the player. Which is fair and accurate statement.
  6. Maybe chose to say nothing about the club to avoid any nonsense statements from Gardiner, which does nobody any favours, but does leave lots of questions, especially given the club's recent history with such things. Or maybe the club have left the door open to him for a return after he recovers and he doesn't want to burn any bridges, but then you'd have expected some comment on him being well looked after? As with most things ICTFC, who knows?
  7. Or maybe we can. 2 year deal
  8. I like the strip, but the larger looking sponsor logo destroys it
  9. If he was a Celtic Youth and he's turned down a contract offer from them, then we'll have to pay a development fee. Unlikely Celtic will wave that, but it'll be the only way we could afford him.
  10. Was CaleyD the SLO when he was at the club?
  11. Good to see Billy signed up, but he's not going to win games on his own. We're probably still a couple of key players/positions short and maybe 4 or 5 players short overall. We've always been at our best with a close squad of players and my view is that Lafferty has shown on too many occasions that he is disruptive, so too much of a risk in that regard. I'm all for second chances, but he's also shown little remorse for past indiscretions and repeats them time and again. Then there's the fact that he has a recent, not insubstantial, injury issue. Ticking all the wrong boxes unfortunately, as there's no doubt that, even given his age, he could be a good option alongside Billy up front.
  12. Wouldn't it be nice if someone at the club took some accountability and stopped just blaming others?
  13. Just to be clear, I wasn't serious
  14. One benefit of our reputation currently being rock bottom, it brings us closer to the dregs without any risk of it getting much worse.
  15. If you watch it back, Tokely puts his hand up to stop the other player running in to him. A little unfortunate that he took it on the chin, but right call by the refs to just continue the match.
  16. We were relegated in 2017 by 2 points and that season bore many resemblances to last season with us having injury issues, fan discontent at the style of football and claims that the board lacked ambition and weren't listening. Were you shouting in defence of the manager and board back then?
  17. None of the current board were elected and the CEO and Chairman are board appointed. We've already seen from DM that the Chairman doesn't have a clue what's going on, and it follows that the board are just as much in the dark, or denial. It's the CEO's job to report in to them what's going on, so you have to question what he's telling them. I imagine he's hiding behind injury crisis and cost of living excuses for declines on and off the pitch, with promises of filling the financial hole with concerts and battery farm schemes, and then blaming others when these don't pan out.
  18. That is exactly the path we are on and we just had our worst league finish in over 20 years, with eye-watering financial losses. That is entirely down to mismanagement of things off the park. You can take a 'keep paying and praying ' approach if you like, but I won't be.
  19. This the same chairman who publicly stated he knew nothing about running a football club, which is why he brought in Gardiner. It should be no surprise to anyone.
  20. It's beyond promises of change and doing things differently for me. We've had over 5 years of that and nothing has improved, quite the opposite. We're at the point where we need to see action from the club. That's too late for me this season as I've already decided not to renew my season ticket, and I get the feeling it's the same for many others. The damage is done and the best we, and the club, can hope for is repairing it for future. I still want the best for the team on the park and will cheer them in from afar, but it's impossible to separate any financial support for the team from also financially supporting those who have become a cancer to ICTFC and I refuse to spend a penny with them. I'm even giving consideration to extending that personal boycott to sponsors and advertisers as well in the hope that in some small way that will encourage them to pursue an end to this madness.
  21. He definitely had charm, but that was the only thing that set him apart from the current incumbent. Let's not forget that it was he and the rest of Muirfield Mills who started the club on the descent it currently finds itself on.
  22. There definitely was.
  23. It may not be what you mean, but it's definitely the impression your post gave.
  24. Reading between the lines, it sounds like the call didn't go that well, especially if it didn't do anything to convince you that things would change.
  25. I don't think anyone is questioning footballing ability. Did we learn nothing from the Gardyne situation and the dangers of signing players with a disruptive history?
