  1. I agree the lack of communication and engagement from the club is the biggest disappointment in this whole sorry saga .... And ironically the silence only amplifies the fans frustrations related to what is happening on the pitch right now. Hopefully the Supporters Trust board announce details of a meeting imminently .....
  2. I assume it means that rather than just the board meeting, anyone who is a member of the ST can attend and participate in the meeting ?!
  3. On the one hand I'm thinking surely there has to be a club statement this week ...... But on the other I'm assuming we just trundle on until next Saturday hearing that if we win that one we could go on a run..... We could realistically be sitting at the end of September with one point from twenty-one in the league and already knocked out of two cup competitions. The supporters who continue to travel to away games, particularly in this financial climate, deserve a medal. When is the last time they saw an away win against non-Highland league opposition? Unfortunately at the moment I'm afraid to say I'm not confident the club - never mind medals - would even reply to their email! Now is the time for change as far as I'm concerned as without it we are heading into league 1 imo.
  4. Raith Rovers and Dundee Utd now ......
  5. Yes it was the defender that played the ball into Brooks' path, goal should have stood
  6. Guess if I'm allowed to at this stage I'll change my first Pars scorer from Wighton (who ain't even on the bench!) to O'Halloran. Cheers Gringo! HT: 0 - 0 FT: 0 - 0 1st Scorer ICT: B. McKay 1st Scorer Pars: O'Halloran Crowd: 1899
  7. Dunfermline at home Raith Rovers away Dundee United at home Arbroath away If offered six points from twelve right now I'd take them!

  9. The 'highlights' from yesterday now on Airdrie website .... https://www.airdriefc.com/dtv23-24/230826
  10. Unless I'm completely missing something, I'm sorry to say it is beyond comprehension for me that a week before the transfer window closes and with Billy Dodds advising the club are continuing to make real efforts to bring in players (Wyness Shuffle podcast), the club's Sporting Director is working for the radio summarising the Ross County match. I know it's been highlighted in previous threads but to me this is indicative of the state the club seems to be in at the moment - I just can't imagine a situation like it at any other club. Like others have said I'll continue to attend matches and support the players regardless of performances (that's what being a supporter is all about after all) but these are very worrying times and leaves me wondering what on earth is going on ....
  11. Improvement in the second half but thank goodness since we were playing the majority of it against 10 men. Losing the goal almost straight from kick-off no doubt further dented fragile confidence and belief at the moment. We look so edgy and uncomfortable at the back just now - I think we need a left sided (and left footed) centre half with an experienced head to help the younger guys who do have ability. The goals were callamatous to say the least. On the plus side, Bray and Shaw continued to take the ball, tried to get us forward and attempted to create chances. In my opinion Billy McKay has just looked completely isolated in the first half of every game this season. We seemed to do less of the punting the ball up to him and hope it sticks today (thankfully) but huge work still to do in order to have a threatening looking front pairing who link up well together. I think Brooks will come good in time and unless we unexpectedly bring in a proven goalscorer from somewhere in the next couple of days, I'd be inclined to try McKay and Lodvica from the start with Brooks in behind in the hope that we can actually take the lead in a match and then try to hold onto it rather than chase a deficit which we seem to be in the habit of doing right now. A (non-gloating) Airdrie fan said to me when I was leaving the stadium 'I'm afraid it looks like it's going to be a difficult season for you' and it was hard to disagree. Credit to Cameron Harper today - despite his own goal and the defeat and with some fans booing at the end, he still made his way over and showed his appreciation to the fans who had travelled for what must have been at least a minute .
  12. I'm not sure , this has been truly awful so far .... And on this performance we deserve to be bottom ....

  14. Just following on from Robert's post, is there a way for us to predict the Arbroath v Queens Park match this weekend? Thanks
  15. I was at the match today, very disappointing. Lacking quality and composure in a variety of positions and rarely look a threat going forward. Ayr weren't great either but once again played with more urgency and determination. Some may blame the referee but he was not the reason we lost. Got back in the car and heard John Robertson on Radio Scotland talking about the County game.... Said to myself surely it's not ICT Sporting Director John Robertson..... Others on this forum have highlighted it was..... Early signs are this could be a long hard season to endure....
  16. I am hoping that it does not come to that and the supporters trust are able to have positive dialogue with the club following the survey and we see change coming from that .....
  17. I am at the opposite end of the spectrum in that this year is the first time I have bought a season ticket, having moved to Inverness in the last few years and wishing to support my local club. I have also joined the Supporters trust and wish to be active and make a positive contribution as well as be part of this online community. I intend to go to as many games as possible home and away this year to support the team and the club. However I am becoming increasingly concerned about how under valued loyal and long standing supporters of the club feel. I have emailed the club on a few occasions about various issues including their cup final ticketing policy (which in my opinion resulted in us having a lot less fans at Hampden than there could have been) and the Boycott Puma campaign prior to this year's kit supplier being confirmed. One of the emails I sent to three separate email addresses including the SLO. I have still not had a response which I find majorly disappointing and I am starting to see why some fans are voting with their feet and ultimately their wallet/purse. If things don't change and the level of disillusionment continues to increase what are the chances of some form of organised visual protest at a home match to demonstrate the strength of feeling and push for positive change?....
  18. I heard a fan behind me tell the people he was with that he's been attending since 1994 and this is the worst team he's seen. I doubt that's the case given the progression of the club through the leagues but others will be better placed than me to judge. As a new ICT season ticket holder the most disappointing aspect of yesterday was the lack of real grit, urgency and determination in the team until the last ten minutes. We seem to lack proper leaders and although Carson does his best to inspire and ruffle up the opposition, for me he spends too much time and effort focusing on the referee. I'm planning on going to Ayr next week and hope to see Bray and Brooks given a start. Nicolson is real loss as, in my opinion, him and Shaw combined very well in the preseason matches I saw. Here's hoping for a much improved performance next week....

  20. Who made the really bad error for the goal?
  21. 4th will be a good achievement this season given the budget and squad we have . Anything above this will be delightful and in my opinion see us punching above our weight. Good luck to the players and management team .... Give it your all and that's all we can ask regardless of the outcome! Let's play our part as fans and really encourage and support the team starting tomorrow ...
  22. Only benefit is having the option of buying 8 tickets if we get to another cup final .....
