I would like to see Gillet playing in defence even though he may be out of position? Surely he is better suited anywhere in a back four instead of DP?

It's the fine line thing again. Assuming we'd managed to hang on to our lead for another 5 mins on Saturday the whole complexion of the forums would be different. I think we should write off this season with many lessons learnt already and settle for 11th place which is more than achievable. On the subject of lessons learnt, what really gets me is the goal differnce thing. For a team that was relegated on goal difference we dont seem to have evolved so to speak.........added to this the fact that we went down and got straight back up which is IMO a feat that may never happen again, talk about getting out of jail? The only thing I'm looking forward to, other than moving off the foot of the table is Doran coming back. I am confident he will make a difference.

I would not sack TB for the majority of reasons already given and suspect if things turned pear shaped IMHO he would resign because he is that kind of guy. For me, best case scenario is that we stutter on until the new year and then beg steal or borrow a striker. Our main problem at the moment is the fact that we are getting no breaks because we are at the foot of the table and that's what happens to the bottom team.

With half a defence and no attack what should we be expecting? I'll settle for three points next week.................

I agree with this Huisden IMO Tade is the most improved player we have and when he works on his finishing and can start taking more of his chances with all of these one on ones he keeps getting the fun will begin. As you say his misses count for nothing yesterday as we got the three points, I don't care. I also noticed he tried to chip the goalie with the last one, nice to see, maybe he's getting more composed. For me, special mention for Davis, although he did fade a bit this guy is real find.

Davis would be in my first choice, he's a class act.

Having watched the highlights can only but praise Tade for his efforts but needs to work on his finishing when one on one with goalies as he seems to get them all the time which is brilliant. IMHO easy chip over goalie for first chance, the ball was bouncing nicely and sitting up for him. Also think Ryan needs to do a bit of work with his positioning, beaten low down into the corner again for first goal. Perhaps I am being harsh, but that's the way I sees it.

I agree entirely with the last two posts. My question is even when we have a full squad available, who is going to score us the goals that will move us up the table?!

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think we have any strikers on our injury list?

Is there anything in their contracts which forbids injury?

This is a tricky one. We clearly need a striker and quickly too, should Shane be given this task it would be a pressure situation on him which is not fair. IMO we need someone else, as if he was given two or three games and did not come up with the goodies we're in trouble.
