This is a tricky one. We clearly need a striker and quickly too, should Shane be given this task it would be a pressure situation on him which is not fair. IMO we need someone else, as if he was given two or three games and did not come up with the goodies we're in trouble.

As a football fan I like to see the ball hitting the back of the net rather than pretty passes, long ball, short ball, dead ball, who cares.

A bit controversial perhaps but why can't we stick Tansey up front until we have a settled stiker/goal scorer. With a bit of luck he could easily have scored double the goals he has, and he gets into great positions in and around the box. Swap positions with Tade and have the latter running at defences from deeper, any takers?

Agree mostly, but a tad harsh on Doran though. Could be good competition for place in the team from both of them as Nick clearly responded to being taken off last week.

Well I'm very excited about our new team and look forward to the goals starting to flow And to think Rangers next game in the league is us at home, think Ali McCoist might need a lie down too.

Striker needed badly and quickly too please. Rooney would have scored a hatrick today had he still been with us. Otherwise all ok.
