  1. Can't see a strike actually happening, but would back it as we need all the help we can get in getting our sport closer to using technology IMO.
  2. dark
  3. Craig Brewster spotted taking the Tommy Cooper approach to management......
  4. I agree, his interviews are a breath of fresh air. I just admire TB's honesty and telling out how it is, he is in the minority as far as football managers go.
  5. YA BEAUTY!!!
  6. Mee too SMEE!
  7. Where can I watch this?
  8. Indeed, talk about trying to do something with one hand tied behind your back. The crazy thing is they use technology to highlight the faults, but not to help, no logic at all. Why it is not used in this day and age to check if a ball has crossed the line, or an offside that leads to a goal, either given or not, is total madness. Some other sports, or non football sports fans, must have a really good laugh about this subject, it's making football look very stupid indeed IMO. Even with the help of technology, refs will still have a huge part to play.
  9. Relegation for refs, don't make me laugh, why can't we simply bring our game into the 21st century and have some technology please. You would eradicate most bad decisions in a stroke.
  10. Having watched the highlights I agree pretty much with all that is being said, very entertaining game and no disgrace in loosing to a very good team, jammy gits. What struck me like many others were our chances (more than them) and had we taken one or two we could have had a point or three.
  11. Two things, go gung ho with three at the back and a very attacking formation And also shoot into home fans in the first half
  12. Total
  13. You notice I changed the subject JD, just in case anyone thought it was you......
  14. I think if Richie had headed the ball straight at the goal instead of heading it down it would have taken a better save to keep it out. I'm pretty sure it's text book coaching to head a ball down in front of goal and often it pays off and throws the goalie, but it's never been my cup of tea.
  15. Just seen the highlights, Foran in the box was a penalty
  16. Macdonalds eh? I suppose they can have one a season. Reminds me of a quote from Arsene Wenger once when he talked about what players eat or consume and how important it was in relation to a professional footballer or sportsoman and the fact that "you wouldn't think of putting diesel in a sports car"
  17. Nice one C1C3! A penny for her thoughts......
  18. paint
  19. It is my opinion that many of us have simply got used to the stadium in the Longman and we all now firmly see this as the home of our team. I personally think that the bught would be a great place for a football stadium, but present situation and circs, etc prevent this.
  20. I was in the clubdeck with my son a few seasons ago at ibrox and we stuck out like a sore thumb, especially when Dargo put us in front! I had no problems that day, I think the Rangers fans around us were fine. I had some of them agreeing with me that the Dargo goal was a beauty.
  21. I was in the middle of nowhere on my bike listening to the radio and with three mins to go radio conked out! Whew! Well done all the boys today, exceptional performance.
  22. I wouldn't know what a red or green dot was if it landed on my face
  23. Ronaldo

    Gordon Munro

Gordie was a former colleague of mine, lovely man and always smiling around the office RIP big man and keep an eye on the team today for us!
  24. Although I have yet to hear it, I'm looking forward to the new the Dave Gilmour/ORB double cd, very interesting collaboration indeed.
