  1. Massive ****-up by the league. They've only awarded us 3 points. Reminds me of European football, where the scoreboard will only designate one goal, forgetting away goals count double.
  2. They're trying. He was our top scorer last year despite not playing as a striker. Our only other options were previously Brooks (one goal) and, err, Fergie jr. Instead of signing 37 defenders, Dunc could have looked at a striker, especially with no Billy in that forward line. But, then, we might lose possession by having a striker...
  3. The whole process before admin seemed to be to keep the club barely functioning but with the same creditors. I didn't put any money into the crowdfunding because I didn't like the idea of supporting a temporary measure by lining the pockets of those who got is into this mess. Although, I would be quite happy to input into a new crowdfunder when we have a direction. This is Morrison's chance. I knew he was a fan, didn't want to be chair, put in a lot of money but was behind disastrous decisions. I'm quite happy for him to be welcomed back as a fan if he is reasonable. It's his choice.
  4. Is this £1.6M the same one that Morrison was claiming he'd spent and wouldn't get back? Or has he spent over £3M with half of that an investment in real estate? I'm not sure I'd get away with saying I've no money as I won't be counting my house as I don't have that in my bank account. Is Morrison a fan or someone that invested in real estate? Buying stock is not the same as being a benefactor. Time for Ross to decide. One way, he's a hero with ICT in his heart. The other and he's a creditor that can run the club to the ground. Which one?
  5. I'd go for Pele too. He took a Highland League team with a few cast offs and lower league players to the edge of the SPL, playing wonderful exciting football and a few notable scalps along the way. That's some achievement!
  6. I'd like to hear from Foran. I don't blame him for being a headstrong rookie manager with no support. I think he put his heart and soul into the club. It didn't work. He lost his job. What are his thoughts now? What's he been doing with himself. Would he ever return to football?
  7. I'd have brought in Malpas earlier to help Foran. Big change in fortune when we got someone with a bit of experience in.
  8. Our highest earning striker was playing as a midfielder and still managed to be the club's top scorer, even in his late thirties. Pretty sure not playing in his best position, whilst nobody else could score, was not through a suggestion from Billy.
  9. Not that swiftly hopefully, as I'd imagine Devine and Mckay would be the first names on the chopping block.
  10. Jeez, I'd forgotten that was a regular thing when growing up.
  11. https://www.textise.net/
  12. Be fair. We do have a very young squad. ....and we're always on the wrong end of bad referring decisions. No other club suffers from that, so Dunc does have a point.
  13. When do I start?
  14. I've just heard Inverness Caledonian and Inverness Thistle are merging and renaming themselves Airdrie United You couldn't make it up!
  15. I would imagine the people there at the beginning, like myself, were just excited by the prospect of a Scottish League team. I thought we'd be more of a Stirling Albion side, rather than matching Hibs and Hearts. I like Charlie's vision of a n 8-8-8 (see video) club. Getting Strachan in at full-back and seeing him progressing is more interest to me than parachuting in 'someone from Luton', even if it does take a few years.
  16. I've been a trustee before. I didn't get involved in the financial side. I'd have briefings but my main interest was of a technical nature for the sector we were involved in. I would imagine directors would be similar. Bennett was probably there for his footballing specialism, rather than finance. You may think he did a bad job there but I doubt it's a case of everyone being knowledgeable about finance. That's why there are multiple directors.
  17. Thought Charlie did pretty well in the hotseat. I guess the advantage we can offer ex-players in the HL is progression. How much notice do you get for making Nairn a force in the top six of the HL against getting ICT promoted from the bottom rung. I also suspect more people, like me, are more willing to shell out after admin. I was waiting to hear any rumours from AS but no need. They're publicly stated.
  18. Why on Earth do people see his posts when there is a block function. It's patently obvious he's not an ICT fan, so why bother? He's such an obvious troll.
  19. I wonder how much our rivals, like Stemhousemuir and Montrose, spend on their merchandise? Given their higher in the league, have a Championship level of striker and don't have a young team (very young), probably more, I would imagine.
  20. I'd really like to know AS's true views. Is he coming in to buy the club going into administration? Then I'd be happy with that, never mind the points deduction. I'd be far happier to put in money to re-start the club, rather than paying off rich men who mismanaged the club to a ludicrous extent. Or is that not part of AS's plan? Will we instead be going down the route of Clydebank. And I totally understand why AS cannot say
  21. I'd be happy to give money to restart the club after the restructuring, points deduction etc. Not so sure if it's to pay off debts that the Board bear a lot of responsibility for. Can we set up something so the administrators see there's a bank of money waiting to be invested but not wasted?
  22. Good to keep a clean sheet. The players aren't used to playing on grass, so they did well to hold off Stenny. Our groundskeeper must take a lot of the blame. Last week a change to the ref, this week no change. It upsets the balance of the team. Come on officials! Let's have some consistency! We do also have a very young team. Very very young. Meanwhile, Stenny's squad is all seasoned professionals with no young players and great strikers. So we have to give credit where it's due. Over all, Duncan has to be congratulated for being just outside the play-offs. We don't score much but, boy, look at how well we can park the bus! And that's what football is all about.
  23. I always played defence or midfield (wing when I was younger). Awful in front of goal though. I reckon I'd get a call up before you then.
  24. I would imagine he's first team coach. Probably doing loads of stuff behind the scenes, hence why manager after manager has kept him on. Unless there's some evidence to the contrary, it's a bit much to ask to sack someone for not explaining his behind the scenes job. Having the assistant manager as the only coach, along with other assistant duties, is hardly the mark of a full-time professional club. Nothing unusual in having a coach, even at League One. Even at League Two!
  25. Good assessment. That referee substitution really made the difference. Well done for stating that Dunc. Others would have come up with some ludicrous excuse.
