Falkirk V ICT - Preview

Teaser Paragraph:
With both sides safe from SPL relegation you could be forgiven for thinking this fixture might turn out to be a boring game but with Falkirk sitting seventh and Caley Thistle ninth and only a point between them both managers will be desparate for the win so they can be 'best of the rest'. With a reputed 80K prize money difference between each place in the league, there is also a fairly good financial incentive. Andrew Fraser previews this match. Falkirk v Inverness CT
Falkirk Stadium, Falkirk Saturday 5th May at 3pm SPL Referee: Stephen Finnie Others: Willie Conquer, Mark Doyle (Assistants), Anthony Law (4th official).
Tickets: This match is pay at the gate. TV-info: LIVE commentary on BBC Radio Scotland and online. Inverness CT: 8 wins (8 League, 0 Cup) Draws: 7 (7 League, 0 Cup) Falkirk: 13 wins (12 League, 1 Cup) FACTS BETWEEN THE TEAMS • There have been 20 1st Division games and 7 SPL games between the teams. • There has only been 1 cup game between the teams, which took place earlier this season in Inverness with Falkirk winning 1-0. • The teams average 3.2 goals a game in the fixtures between these two teams. • The biggest win in the fixture was when Inverness CT beat the Bairns 4-1 at the Falkirk Stadium on the 21/01/2006. Goals from Wilson, Wyness, Dargo and Tokely gave Caley Thistle a comfortable victory. Ireland scored a consolation for Falkirk. • The last meeting between the team finished 1-1 in Inverness. Inverness had being playing the better football throughout the match but didn’t take their chances and Carl Finnigan put Falkirk into the lead with only 10 minutes to go. However John Rankin got Inverness back on level terms with his 4th goal against the Bairns this season. The attendance was 4435. PLAYERS TO WATCH Graham Bayne (Inverness CT): The ex-Ross County forward has played very well this season, even though he hasn’t reached double figures in the goal tally. His work rate this season has been top notch and has scored some important goals, including a winner at Ibrox in October and 2 against Celtic at home in 2007. He scored a great header against Dundee Utd last weekend and he is aiming to end the season on a high. Currently has 8 goals this season, 4 of top scorer Craig Dargo. Kasper Schmeichel (Falkirk): The Man City goalkeeper has enjoyed his 6 month loan spell at the Falkirk Stadium. The son of the famous Peter Schmeichel has enjoyed some good form during his short spell at the club and is very keen to extend his loan deal into next season. A great capture for John Hughes if he can keep him for next season as well. SPECIAL REPORT: Toronto V Kansas

Teaser Paragraph:
Toronto FC played their first ever home game this week and although there are only tenuous links to ICT such as the fact that they were a new team entering into a senior league, and they were reputedly interested in Caley Thistle left-back Richard Hastings, CaleyThistleOnline co-publisher 'Scotty' was there to take in the action and provide this special report. August 12th 1994 was a proud day for a lot of people. It was the day that Caledonian Thistle (without Inverness in their name at this point) made their home debut in the Scottish league setup. They had played a few home friendlies leading up to this [and had also won their first ever senior match (in the league cup) at  East Stirlingshire just a few days earlier] but this was it, the first home game of a new club and 1700 people showed up to watch the league new boys demolish Arbroath 5-2 courtesy of an Alan Hercher hat-trick and goals from Paul McKenzie and Wilson Robertson.
April 28th 2007 will also be a memorable day for a lot of football fans in Toronto. This was the day that Toronto FC played its first match at the purpose built 20000 all-seated "BMO Field". Toronto FC has not had an easy start losing 4-0, 2-0 and 3-0 in its first three games and failing to score a goal in the process but anticipation for this sold out game (crowd was later announced as 20138 !!) had the city buzzing especially those who follow football. The team has been promoted heavily and the PR side of the club has been excellent with top quality season ticket books, a membership card for season ticket holders that gives 15% off merchandise, and the best move of all, the ticket to the first game being a scarf with your ticket attached - a good way to ensure nearly 20000 people are waving them about.
Toronto is a football city, there is no doubt about that, but like many Scottish cities, the fans who live in Toronto had to turn elsewhere for their fix as Toronto did not have a team in the North American Major Leagues until now. One of the fan websites (U-Sector) urged everyone going to the game to bring along a scarf for their ‘other' team and I duly took my Caley Thistle scarf (and baseball cap) with me to the Wheatsheaf pub for the pre-match meeting. It was perhaps fitting that the oldest pub in Toronto is to be the base for at least one supporters group of what will hopefully become the newest sporting phenomena in the city and as I approached the watering hole it was clear that there were many others who had also taken up the scarf challenge with scarves on display from all over Europe and South America.  A couple of pints to wet the whistle and a few renditions of some of the new songs and it was time to head for the stadium. It's a good 20 minute walk from the ‘sheaf to the stadium but the U-Sector were in good voice all the way there. "T-O-R ... O-N-T ... oh,oh,oh,oh,oh,oh FC" was the main chant (and the only one I really knew) but there were also others on the go.
Many months ago when the season tickets went on sale, I had to make a decision about whether to get some ‘nice' (but boring) seats or to join the U-Sector or Red Patch bandwagon and opt for the supporters' section. After Saturday, the decision to opt for the latter seems to have been the right one as both supporters groups really got into it and created an atmosphere before, during and after the game that is best viewed on some of the multitude of ‘YouTube' links below.
Proposed TV Ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4cydqI9oPc Pub before the game TV  News Article Oh Dear - singer forgets words of USA anthem Fans get into it before KO Kick-Off http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLfrUaCR9Bk Corner Kick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pE_ALV4K728 Singers in 113 After-match in Wheatsheaf After-match in Wheatsheaf Mo Johnston (Toronto FC manager) was quoted after the game as saying it was one of the few times in his career that he has experienced ‘goosebumps' from crowd atmosphere. Presumably the other times were at Ibrox and Parkhead.
The match itself was good. Toronto have some decent players, but it has been a slow start with three losses and no goals. I had previously watched the other games on TV and the side were well beaten on each occasion. Kansas had won 3-0 in midweek against Toronto but this time it was Toronto looking the most likely to score in the early exchanges. Midfielder Maurice Edu was the first to have a real chance in 10 minutes but put it just wide after some clever play. Toronto managed to get a good few corners during the first half and another chance almost ended with a Kevin Hartman (KC keeper) own goal as he spilled an easy catch but caught it before it went over the line. Fan favourite Alecko Eskandarian (USA) was the next to create and after skinning a couple of KC defenders he passed to new signing Danny Dichio whose shot was blocked by Jack Jewsbury. Dichio, signed last week from Preston North End, was putting himself about a bit in the first half and managed to flatten both the keeper and another couple of defenders before getting the inevitable yellow card. Half Time score 0-0
Time for a wander about at half-time ... The international nature of the support was evident but I had spotted a familiar strip and went to have a look - turns out I was not the only Caley Thistle fan in the place and as I chatted with this supporter, another two guys went past and said "f*** me, its Caley Thistle fans" ... turns out these lads live in Canada but are Dunfermline fans - one of whom is returning to Scotland for the Cup Final. Another wander about and a few more people noticed the logo on my hat or the writing on the back that said ICT - I met Rangers fans, Celtic fans, Hibs fans and later in the day even a St Mirren fan so at least half the SPL was represented !! I am sure there were fans from other SPL sides too but I just didn't bump into them in the 20000+ crowd.
If the first half was good for Toronto - and it was - the second half was a disappointment. The flowing attacking football with skillful play in midfield, strength up front and adequate defending was replaced by schoolboy defending, midfield mediocrity and little or no chances up front because of this. Toronto, despite a lacklustre second half were weathering the storm, or the were until the 81st minute when Eddie Johnson managed to cut inside from the edge of the box and beat the keeper at the near post. Although Toronto threw on another forward after this, the score remained the same and the first home game for Toronto FC ended 0-1. A bad loss but a great day nonetheless. TFC may be winless and goalless but they are certainly not without support in the city.
Through it all the crowd was the star, from the very start not a single person had sat down in the (all-seated) supporters section (and there were no threats from stewards or police to make them do it !!). The stand was jumping, huge noise was being made and those watching at home on TV have since posted on internet sites that some of the camera footage was actually shaking because the stands were quite literally rocking !!! The newspapers over the last couple of days have devoted two or three paragraphs to the game but most have also had big articles dedicated to the atmosphere the fans have generated. Roll on the next game on the 12th .....

Dundee Utd 1-1 Inverness CT - SPL

In the proverbial 'game of two halves', a graham Bayne equaliser in the 57th minute was enough to grab a share of the points after David Robertson had given Dundee United a well deserved first half lead. Club Historian Ian Broadfoot reports on the game at Tannadice.
DUNDEE UTD 1-1 ICT
28th April 2007 Tannadice Stadium, Dundee  DUNDEE UTD 1 (Robertson 41) Team: Stillie, Dillon, Wilkie, McCracken, Kalvenes, Cameron, Gomis, Samuel, Robertson(Duff 75), Daly(Conway 81), Hunt Subs: Goodwillie, Robson, Easton, Mair & Mclean
INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE FC  1 (Bayne 57) Team: Fraser, McCaffrey, Dods, Munro, Hastings, Rankin, Duncan, McBain, Paatelainen, Hart(Black 86), Bayne  Subs: McSwegan, Soane, Sutherland, McAllister, Duff & Ridgers
Referee  Steve Conroy  Attendance  5273  Man of the Match  Morgaro Gomis (Dundee Utd)
It is a well-worn cliché but there is no escaping the fact that this was a game of two halves. United dominated the first and deservedly led 1-0 at half time, but it was all change after the break as Caley Thistle fought back for a draw.
Sadly Charlie Christie was not able to travel south due to a family bereavement and Donald Park took charge. Craig Dargo missed out due to a hamstring injury and both Barry Wilson and Ross Tokely were still suspended. Ian Black returned to take a bench slot.
For United Barry Robson was left on the bench as he is on a suspension knife-edge. The dry spell left the pitch hard despite copious pre-match watering and this led to the first chance of the afternoon in the third minute. Mike Fraser and Jon Daly both went for a through ball and it took a high bounce over the ‘keeper – this also fooled Daly who could only touch it off target.
A minute later a John Rankin free kick from the right curled towards the United goal and Derek Stillie had to punch it clear. The lively start continued and in 13 minutes Fraser pushed away a Noel Hunt angled header and it was scrambled away. Sean Dillon crossed from the right in 16 minutes and the ball bounced off the top of the bar. Caley Thistle’s first real effort on goal came in 21 minutes when a Richie Hart 25 yard effort was deflected for a corner.
With five minutes of the first half remaining a long Hunt throw from the right was aimed for the towering Lee Wilkie in the box but it was cleared by Stuart McCaffrey for another throw. Hunt looked like repeating the move but instead it went short to Daly and was returned to Hunt. He crossed into the box and David Robertson sent a near post header into the net to give United the lead.
Half Time: 1-0
After the interval United stuttered and Caley Thistle came right back into it – but not before Fraser had to tip over a David McCracken overhead kick in 54 minutes. The equaliser in 57 minutes was a beauty. Hart sent a long free kick into the heart of the box and Graham Bayne rose to head it past Stillie from 12 yards.
United’s Daly had a header deflected for a corner in 59 minutes then a Dods effort at the other end was similarly sent for a corner. Bayne ran onto a Rankin chip in 75 minutes but a late offside flag stopped play. Hart hit off target from long range in 79 minutes then Fraser held a Stuart Duff angled ball from the left.
Ian Black came on for the last four minutes and he was involved in a couple of good moves – his first touch sent Markus Paatelainen down the left but he shot well off target. United had the last chance of the match in added time when a Craig Conway ball from the left curled wide of the post.
Full Time: 1-1
United and ICT remain eighth and ninth respectively.

Dundee Utd V ICT - Preview

Teaser Paragraph:
Caley Thistle have lost only once in the last 9 meetings with Dundee United but make no mistake about it, a tough battle will ensue as the 'Arabs' are harder to beat with Craig Levein at the helm than they were under the recent procession of other managers. Andrew Fraser previews this weekends match at Tannadice. Inverness CT: 5 wins (3 League, 2 Cup) Draws: 6 (5 League, 1 Cup) Dundee Utd: 4 wins (3 League, 1 Cup) A GAME TO REMEMBER For this weeks game to remember we take you back to Inverness CT’s first ever victory over Dundee Utd. In their previous 7 attempts Inverness had failed to beat the Terrors but the midweek CIS Cup match gave them another chance to break the duck. Only 2 minutes had gone when Liam Fox put Inverness CT into an early lead. And with 4 minutes left of the first half, Barry Wilson capitalised on a keeper error to slam the ball home making it 2-0 and very difficult for United to come back. If I remember correctly Barry Robson hit the woodwork 3 times during the match!! The 2nd half didn’t bring any goals giving Caley Thistle their first victory over Dundee United in history. Inverness CT eventually lost in the next round away to Livingston. The attendance was 1919. The teams were as follows: INVERNESS CT: Brown, Duncan, Dods, Munro, Morgan, Proctor, Hart, Fox, Wilson, Wyness, McAllister. Subs- Black (for McAllister), Fraser, Parratt, Finnigan, Brewster. DUNDEE UTD: Stillie, McCracken, Ritchie, Archibald, Wilson, Canero, Brebner, Duff, Robson, Miller, Fernandez. Subs- Samuel (for Duff), McIntyre (for Miller), McInnes (for Canero), Kenneth, McLean. The referee was John Underhill and there was only 1 booking on the day: Miller of Dundee Utd. Eight of the Inverness players (including Morgan) who started the match still play for the club! FACTS BETWEEN THE TEAMS • All League meetings between the teams have taken place in the SPL. • Inverness CT have only lost one of the last 9 meetings in this fixture, however it took place this season in December when Dundee Utd won 3-1. • Dundee Utd never lost any of the first 7 meetings between the teams. • The biggest win was by 2 goals, both teams have won by this margin. • Inverness CT forward Gary McSwegan played for Dundee Utd. • The fixture produces an average of 2.3 goals per game. JUST 4 GAMES LEFT, WHERE CAN TEAMS FINISH? There are just 4 games left to see who will gain the last European places, who will finish best of the rest in the bottom six and who will survive the dreaded drop. This weekend has a few interesting fixtures, including the last day of the 1st division season to see who will come into the SPL next season. Will Gretna make it 3 back to back promotions or will St Johnstone make a remarkable come back and sneak it on the last day? Celtic will be presented with the SPL title on Sunday, in front of a full capacity crowd at Parkhead. Finally Celtic sealed the title last weekend, thanks to ANOTHER late goal, this time by Nakamura. Hearts fans are the ones that get to witness it. We, Inverness CT, are away to Dundee Utd looking to continue a recent impressive record against the Tangerines. Having lost only once in the last 9 meetings between the sides, Inverness definitely like to play Utd. However all eyes will of course be on Dods who has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Dundee side but I am very confident he will give 100% commitment to Inverness on Saturday. However, most of the drama will take place on Monday night in Paisley. St Mirren are 4pts ahead of Dunfermline and a win over the Pars will surely keep the Saints safe, but it is not as easy as that. Dunfermline are on form at the moment. They have won 3 out of their last 4 SPL games and are just finding the points at the right time; however only a win I believe will keep the Pars with any chance of survival. If you have Setanta I would advise you watch this game, could be a nervous one for both teams. One more interest might be the 1st division coming to a climax this weekend, and what a climax it might be. With the trophy set to be in a helicopter during the two games (just as it was when Inverness won it 3 years ago! Yes 3 whole years ago!!!!!) it is sure to swing between Highlands and Hamilton. Gretna go to our relegation threatened neighbours Ross County knowing that a win will seal it for them no matter what St Johnstone do. However if Gretna do not beat Ross County, the door is open for St Johnstone to beat Hamilton and claim an unexpected promotion this year, back to the top flight. There is sure to be some excitement on Saturday. Squad: Ally Ridgers, Jonathon Smith, Michael Fraser, Jamie Duff, Darren Dods, Stuart Soane, Guy Kerr, Richard Hastings, Stuart McCaffrey, Grant Munro, John Rankin, Ian Black, Roy McBain, Zander Sutherland, Alan Morgan, Richie Hart, Russell Duncan, Markus Paatelainen, Craig Dargo, Gary McSwegan, Rory McAllister, Garry Wood, Dennis Wyness, Graham Bayne Injured: Nobody. Defensive duo sign new contracts

Teaser Paragraph:
Stuart McCaffrey and Richard Hastings have signed new contracts that will extend their stay at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium for two and three years respectively.
With Darren Dods leaving for Dundee United at the end of the season, it is excellent news for the fans that both players have committed their future to the club. Hastings has been excellent in the left back slot and although McCaffrey hasnt seen a lot of action in the last couple of years because of injury and the level of performance shown by the other defenders he is the natural choice to replace Dods in defence next season.
Richard, who was recently recalled to the Canadian international side has made 296 appearances for the club and barring injury or a suspension should play his 300th game for the club on the last day of the season. He has put pen to paper on a three year deal which should hopefully take him well beyond the 400 game mark in the coming seasons.
{styleboxop}I'm delighted both have chosen to stay - Charlie Christie{/styleboxop}Stuart, back in the side recently because of injuries and suspensions has played 185 games for the club and has agreed a two year contract.
According to the BBC, Charlie Christie is quoted as saying  "I'm delighted both have chosen to stay rather than quit this summer. Richard has had his best SPL season, winning his place back in the Canada team, and has been a stalwart of a strong defence. Stuart was a regular when we joined the SPL then fell out of the side but showed his quality at Ibrox three weeks ago when we were down to 10 men."

Inverness CT 2-0 Motherwell - SPL

A Dargo double in the first half was enough to secure all three points against Motherwell in a typical 'end of season' match where home keeper Michael Fraser was rarely troubled. Club Historian Ian Broadfoot provides the match report from Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.
ICT 2-0 MOTHERWELL
21st April 2007 Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, Inverness  INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE FC  2 (Dargo 14,44)   Team: Fraser, McCaffrey, Dods, Munro, Hastings, Hart, Duncan, Rankin, Paatelainen, Bayne, Dargo (McBain 69) Subs: McAllister, Sutherland, McSwegan, Soane, Duff & Ridgers
MOTHERWELL  0 Team: Smith, Corrigan, Craigan, Reynolds, Murphy (Quinn 46), Kerr, Vadocz, McBride (McGarry 20), Paterson, McDonald, Clarkson (Smith 75) Subs: McCormack, Fitzpatrick, Molloy & Meldrum
Referee  Craig MacKay  Attendance  3804  Man of the Match  Richard Hastings (ICT)   A comfortable win for Caley Thistle in the race to be the best of the rest. Importantly the result of this first post-split match ensured that any lingering relegation worries were arithmetically over.   Darren Dods came back from suspension but Ian Black remained in the sin bin and was joined by Barry Wilson and Ross Tokely. Young defender Jamie Duff took a place on the bench for the first time and Graham Bayne became the 27th ICT player to join the 100-appearance club.   Bayne’s strike partner Craig Dargo played despite being under the weather and he put the finishing touch to good moves by scoring twice. The first real chance came in 13 minutes when a long Grant Munro throw from the left fell for Markus Paatelainen and he shot strongly through the pack in a crowded box – Graeme Smith saw it late but produced a fine save.   Within a minute Paatelainen was the provider for the opening goal when he touched the ball from the centre to Dargo racing in for the right - he took it in his stride and his angled shot took a slight deflection as it went past Smith. The pressure on Smith continued and he did well to hold an awkward bouncing 25 yard shot from Richie Hart.   Motherwell were forced into a 20th minute substitution when Kevin McBride limped off and Steve McGarry came on. Close to the half-hour mark Scott MacDonald had two rare Motherwell chances but his shots on the turn were easily collected by Mike Fraser.   Five minutes from half time Caley Thistle produced arguably the move of the season. Breathtaking interplay amongst four players resulted in Munro heading into the Motherwell box from the left – unselfishly he laid the ball off to Hart but he blasted over the bar from the penalty spot. A minute from the break a high Stuart McCaffrey free kick into the box was head-flicked by Bayne to the feet of Dargo and he sent an angled shot past Smith for his second goal.   Half Time: 2-0   The second half was rather pedestrian and there were few chances. In 52 minutes Smith saved a low shot from Bayne after a fine move then Fraser held an overhead kick by Krisztian Vodocz in the home box on 74 minutes. Ten minutes from time a Bayne back-header from a John Rankin chip sailed over the bar. Six minutes later ICT came close to a further goal - a Rankin high free kick into the Motherwell box was knocked back out to him by Dods and Rankin sent a long range shot just wide of the top right corner of the woodwork.   Full Time: 2-0   It ended 2-0 and ICT moved up a notch to ninth place. Bottom club Dunfermline beat Dundee United 1-0 and now sit just a point below St Mirren who play Falkirk on Monday. A very interesting relegation battle but thankfully Caley Thistle fans can watch it from the outside.

ICT V Motherwell - Preview

Teaser Paragraph:
The overall record between ICT and Motherwell is pretty even with 6 wins apiece and two draws so this may be a hard one to call for the neutrals. However, a strange statistic of this fixture is that six times out of the last seven matches it has ended with an away win so the smart money may be on Motherwell, especially with Ian Black, Ross Tokely and Barry Wilson all serving suspensions. However, Caley Thistle usually perform best under adversity so we are predicting a home win (of course). Andrew Fraser previews the game ...    Inverness CT v Motherwell Tulloch Caledonian Stadium Saturday 21st April at 3pm Referee: Craig MacKay Others: Stuart Macaulay, Mark Doyle (Assistants), John McKendrick (4th official)

On the 6th March 2004 in the Scottish Cup Quarter finals, Inverness CT were drawn away to Motherwell. Inverness were going strong in the league and we full of confidence heading to Fir Park. What we didn’t know was that Barry Wilson was to score a wonder goal. Both teams started the game well but after 10 mins, Inverness took the lead thanks to goal of the season by Wilson. Barry received the ball 35 yards+ from goal and he chested it and striked a half volley that dipped over Marshall. By far goal of the round. Motherwell never really got going throughout the match and Inverness CT had a few chances to finish the tie in the second half but they eventually held out to reach the semi-finals for the first ever time in their history. The look on Barry’s face at the end of the game showed how much it meant to him as he was delighted. The attendance was 7930. The teams were as follows: INVERNESS CT: Brown, Tokely, Mann, McCaffrey, Golabek, McBain, Duncan, Thomson, Wilson, Ritchie, Keogh. Subs- Munro (for Thomson), Proctor (for Ritchie), Fraser, Hart, McMillan. MOTHERWELL: Marshall, Quinn, Corrigan, Craigan, Hammell, Lasley, Adams, Fagan, Burns, McDonald, Clarkson. Six (including Golabek) of the Inverness players who started the match still play for the club. FACTS BETWEEN THE TEAMS • All League meetings between the teams have taken place in the SPL. • Only twice has a team scored 3 or more goals in this fixture and both teams have had the joy. Inverness CT were the latest in one of the fixtures this season winning 4-1 away at Fir Park. • There has only been TWO home victories in this fixture. Both teams have had the honour, with the most recent being Motherwell in the most recent fixture. • This fixture has an average of 2.1 goals per meeting. AND SO THE FINAL STRAIGHT It is almost the end of April and here we go again, the SPL has split into 2 separate leagues for the remaining 5 games. There are still a few places to sort out but the majority has already been decided. I take a look at how the top six and bottom six will finish. The top six It is looking very likely that Celtic will wrap up the title this weekend. If both Celtic and Rangers achieve the same result or Celtic go one better, the SPL title will be already secured with 4 games to go. Celtic will be champions and Rangers look likely to secure the 2nd champions league spot and finish runners-up in the league. There are 2 teams battling for 3rd place and with it the UEFA Cup place. Aberdeen currently occupies it but Hearts are only 3pts behind. Then with only a slight chance of moving up the table Kilmarnock are 5th, 8pts behind Hearts and Hibernian in 6th, a further 2pts behind. The bottom six The relegation fight looks likely to go to the end and will end up being the only excitement. Meanwhile the 4 teams in 7th to 10th place- Falkirk, Dundee Utd, Inverness CT and Motherwell respectively- are all aiming to finish best of the bottom six, which Inverness CT did last season with 5 very impressive clean sheets and with it 5 wins. Each place is worth a reported £70,000 so hopefully these 4 teams will aim to play good football in order to finish as high as they can. One thing the 4th teams in 7th to 10th place could play a part in is who will be relegated from the SPL this season. Dunfermline are only 4pts behind St Mirren and have won 2 out of their 3 recent SPL fixtures. It will hopefully go down to the last day of the season when Dunfermline play Falkirk and St Mirren take on Inverness CT. So then, will this season end with major talking points? Will Rangers actually do the unthinkable and finish 1st, or even 4th!!! Will Hibernian be able to finish on a high with the turmoil between the players and the management team at the moment? Will Inverness CT do what they did last season and win 5 games with 5 clean sheets? Who will beat the drop between St Mirren and Dunfermline? Let’s just hope the fans are treated so some good football as all the clubs aims to achieve the highest position possible.
