FIXTURES Saturday 9th September: Aberdeen v Celtic (Setanta, 12:30pm) Dunfermline v Kilmarnock Hearts v St Mirren Motherwell v Inverness CT Rangers v Falkirk (all 3pm)
Sunday 10th September: Dundee Utd v Hibernian (Setanta, 2pm) SPL ROUND-UP The last SPL games to take place was 2 weekends ago due to Scotland Internationals. On Saturday the 26th August, no teams drew. Aberdeen beat Dunfermline 1-0 thanks to Scott Severin. That was Crawfords last game for Aberdeen before he moved to Dunfermline. Celtic narrowly beat Hibernian 2-1 which included new signing Jan Vennegor of Hesselink scoring the winner. Motherwell beat an on form Falkirk side in their own backyard by the odd goal. Aussie Scott McDonald gave the Well a vital 3 points to take them off the bottom. Hearts gave Inverness CT their biggest defeat in the SPL since they joined 2 years ago. They won 4-1 with Bayne equalising for Inverness in the first half. Dundee Utd recorded a much needed win for Brewster with a convincing 3-1 victory over St Mirren. However Robson was sent off for the terrors. On Sunday live on Setanta, Rangers were held to a 2-2 draw by Kilmarnock. A Boyd double for the Gers was cancelled out by Wright and a last minute penalty by Steven Naismith. So, 5 games gone, Celtic and Hearts top the table with 10pts. Dunfermline are rock bottom with 2pts. RECENT SPL FORM Inverness CT: LDDDL Motherwell: WLLLL PAST MEETINGS The teams have played a total of 11 times (7 League, 4 Cup) with 23 goals (12 Inverness CT, 11 Motherwell) between them. Inverness CT: 5 wins (4 League, 1 Cup) Draws: 2 (1 League, 1 Cup(won by well on penalties)) Motherwell: 4 wins (3 League, 1 Cup) A GAME TO REMEMBER For this weeks game to remember we take you back another one of Inverness’s great cup killing shocks. On the 6th March 2004 in the Scottish Cup Quarter finals, Inverness CT were drawn away to Motherwell. Inverness were going strong in the league and we full of confidence heading to Fir Park. What we didn’t know was that Barry Wilson was to score a wonder goal. Both teams started the game well but after 10 mins, Inverness took the lead thanks to goal of the season by Wilson. Barry received the ball 35 yards+ from goal and he chested it and striked a half volley that dipped over Marshall. By far goal of the round. Motherwell never really got going throughout the match and Inverness CT had a few chances to finish the tie in the second half but they eventually held out to reach the semi-finals for the first ever time in their history. The look on Barry’s face at the end of the game showed how much it meant to him as he was delighted. The attendance was 7930. The teams were as follows: INVERNESS CT: Brown, Tokely, Mann, McCaffrey, Golabek, McBain, Duncan, Thomson, Wilson, Ritchie, Keogh. Subs- Munro (for Thomson), Proctor (for Ritchie), Fraser, Hart, McMillan. MOTHERWELL: Marshall, Quinn, Corrigan, Craigan, Hammell, Lasley, Adams, Fagan, Burns, McDonald, Clarkson. Subs- O’Donnell (for Fagan), Wright (for Clarkson), Corr, K.McDonald, Kinniburgh. The referee was Kenny Clark and there were NO bookings on the day. Eight of the Inverness players who started the match still play for the club. FACTS BETWEEN THE TEAMS • All League meetings between the teams have taken place in the SPL. • Only once has a team scored 3 goals in this fixture and it was Motherwell. • In games between the two teams, not a lot of goals have been scored so don’t expect a goal fest this weekend. PLAYERS TO WATCH Gary McSwegan (Inverness CT): He is one of the most controversial signings according to most Inverness CT fans that our club has made. A lot of fans were shocked to hear that Gary had signed for the club on a one-year deal earlier in the week. The 36 year old has plenty of top flight experience but couldn’t even get a game for Ross County last season due to injury. He definitely raised a few eyebrows when he made the switch although he is very keen to impress as this is his last chance in the SPL. Could possibly make a sub appearance at the weekend and it would be great if he could score a debut goal to start to prove the doubters wrong. Scott McDonald (Motherwell): The aussie is a key player in the well line up this season. There was plenty transfer talk of him moving to Edinburgh although he currently remains at Fir Park, at least until January. A good striker who can supply the goals and with Calum Elliot on loan, he now has a good striking partner alongside him. Already scored 2 goals this season and is looking for a good goal tally this season to impress everyone again. FUTURE FIXTURES 2nd Dec 2006 at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium 17th Feb 2007 at Fir Park

Hearts 4-1 Inverness CT - SPL

Hearts 4 - 1 ICT
"Mother said their would be days like this" - Hearts ran out 4-1 winners in todays encounter at Tynecastle.  Unfortunately the score doesn't reflect the game in which ICT battled hard, played well and created the chances...

26th August 2006  Tynecastle Stadium, Edinburgh  HEARTS  4 (Pinilla 20, Mole 42, Driver 80, Aguiar 91) Team: Gordon, Costa, Pressley, Karipidis, Zaliukas, Wallace, Mikoliunas, Hartley (Aguiar 79), McCann (Driver 76), Pinilla (Makella 86), Mole
Subs: Beslija, Lithgow, Fyssas, Banks
INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE FC  1 (Bayne 31) Team: Brown, Tokely (Duncan 82), Dods, Munro, Hastings, Wilson, Black, Rankin, McBain (Keogh 82), Wyness (McAllister 44), Bayne
Subs: Sutherland, Keogh, Morgan, McCaffery, Fraser
Referee  Steve Conroy  Attendance  15912  Man of the Match  Jamie Mole (Hearts)
While ICT were beating Dumbarton in midweek, a nine –man Hearts team was crashing out of the Champions League in Athens. It was hard to predict whether they would be tired, and therefore ripe for the taking, or would be determined to bounce back quickly.
In the event five personnel changes resolved the tiredness problem and they won this match convincingly. It was not quite as one sided as the scoreline suggests and ICT had chances to take something from the game – at 2-1 there was always the possibility of ICT taking a point but two Hearts goals in the last ten minutes sealed the victory.
Caley Thistle reverted to the regular line-up, but with Craig Dargo not quite recovered from injury, Graham Bayne partnered Dennis Wyness up front.
This changed just before half time when Wyness left the field injured and Rory McAllister replaced him. The first real challenge on the ICT goal came from an unlikely source in seven minutes. A long Craig Gordon clearance bounced awkwardly and Mark Brown was forced to tip it over. From Paul Hartley’s corner Saulius Mikoliunas hit over the bar.
A Hearts breakthrough looked like coming in 11 minutes when Jamie Mole latched onto a Neil McCann cross and headed low towards the bottom corner.  The large home support began to salute a goal but Brown dived to expertly push it behind for a corner.
Nineteen proved an unlucky number for Caley Thistle when number 19 Mauricio Pinilla opened the scoring in the nineteenth minute. After a period of Hearts pressure McCann sent a cross from the left and Pinilla sidefooted it low past Brown from a few yards out.
The visitors pressed for an equaliser and Barry Wilson came close in 27 minutes – he cleverly twisted past Mikoliunas and shot but Gordon punched it for a corner. On the half hour mark the small travelling support had something to cheer about when Graham Bayne made it 1-1.  Wilson crossed from the right and Bayne lost his marker before heading the ball past Gordon from a couple of yards out.
Dennis Wyness, making his 199th appearance for the club, came very close to scoring against his old team in 39 minutes when he dived to head a Richard Hastings cross from the left. It went wide and Wyness dislocated his shoulder in the process. He left the field a few minutes later and McAllister replaced him.
Half Time: 2-1
Four minutes in to the second half Bayne raced through the centre with two defenders in close formation but he could only send the final ball wide. Hearts regained control and it was nearly 3-1 in 66 minutes when McCann hit the bar with Brown beaten.
At the other end in 75 minutes Barry Wilson dived to head a Ross Tokely cross but he failed to connect six yards out.
Any hopes of an ICT revival died in 80 minutes when Mikoliunas crossed from the right to the back post and Ross Tokely’s attempted headed clearance fell for Hearts substitute Andrew Driver – he sent an angled ball past Brown for 3-1.
In the final minute another substitute Bruno Aguiar slid onto a low ball from the left and scored to make the final result 4-1.
Full Time: 4-1
Disappointment for ICT after a good performance and they remain in tenth place.

Teaser Paragraph:
With 7 past meetings (6 League - 1 Cup) the honours are even with 2 wins each.  Fans will be hoping to take the lead on that front as they travel to Tynecastle for the 2nd Away League Fixture of the season.  Spirits should be high after last weeks result against Celtic and the mid week victory over Dumbarton in the CIS Cup.  If we can continue our away form we should be able to jump another couple of places and establish a mid-table presence to carry us in to September   HEARTS V ICT
Date: 26.08.2006 at 15:00 Tickets: This game is all-ticket. TV-info: Highlights available on ITV1 Scotsport SPL at 11pm on Monday evening.
DETAILS Hearts v Inverness Caledonian Thistle Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, Saturday 26th August at 3pm SPL Referee: Steve Conroy Others: Francis Andrews, Charlie Smith (Assistants), Colin Brown (4th official). FIXTURES Saturday 26th August: Aberdeen v Dunfermline Celtic v Hibernian Falkirk v Motherwell Hearts v Inverness CT St Mirren v Dundee Utd (all 3pm)
Sunday 27th August: Kilmarnock v Rangers (Setanta, 2pm) SPL ROUND-UP The SPL weekend kicked off at 12:30pm on Saturday at Love Street. Aberdeen only drew 1-1 at St Mirren as Crawford’s opener was cancelled out by a late equaliser from Broadfoot. Rangers went back top of the table with a good 2-0 victory at home to Hearts. A Boyd double gave the Gers a deserved victory. Hibernian kept Motherwell rock bottom with a comfortable 3-1 victory Benjoullon, Brown and Jones scored for Hibs as McDonald scored late on for the Well. Dundee Utd and Dunfermline drew a blank with Burchill missing a penalty for the Pars. Kilmarnock knocked Falkirk off top spot with a 2-1 win at the Falkirk Stadium. Wales and DiGiacomi made Latapy’s wonder strike mean nothing in terms of points. In Sundays live game, Celtic made the tricky trip up to Inverness. Pearson gave Celtic a deserved 1st half lead but Munro scored a smashing equaliser for the Jags with 10 mins left. So after 4 games Rangers lead the way with 4pts with Motherwell rock bottom with nil points. RECENT SPL FORM Inverness CT: DDDL Hearts: LDWW PAST MEETINGS The teams have played a total of 7 times (6 League, 1 Cup) with 10 goals (6 Inverness CT, 4 Hearts) between them. Inverness CT: 2 wins (1 League, 1 Cup) Draws: 3 (3 League, 0 Cup) Hearts: 2 wins (2 League, 0 Cup) A GAME TO REMEMBER For this weeks game to remember we take you back another one of Inverness’s great cup killing shocks. On the 26th January 2001 in the Scottish Cup 4th round, Inverness CT were drawn away to Hearts. Nobody predicted a shock, but Inverness weren’t listening. A tremendous display from the inform 1st Division side gave the Highlanders another giant cup killing act to add to their collection. Ross Tokely’s opener was cancelled out just before the break by Gary Wales of Hearts. A few thought that was the chance of a shock gone but Inverness showed the world how to play football in the second half when Dennis Wyness and David Bagan both slotted perfect goals to gift Inverness CT passage to the Quarter-final. Man of the match was Hearts fan Ross Tokely. The attendance was 12016. The teams were as follows: INVERNESS CT: Walker, Tokely, Mann, McCaffrey, McBain, Munro, Duncan, Chrisite, Robson, Ritchie, Wyness. Subs- Bagan (for Christie), Calder, Bavidge, Golabek, Stewart. HEARTS: Niemi, Webster, Severin, Mahe, Maybury, Flogel, Gronlund, Fulton, McCann, Fuller, Wales. Subs- Kirk (for Webster), Simmons (for McCann), Adam (for Wales), McKenzie, Kazcan. The referee was Alan Freeland and there were two bookings on the day: Duncan and Robson both of Inverness CT. Six of the Inverness players who started the match still play for the club and one is now the manager! FACTS BETWEEN THE TEAMS • All League meetings between the teams have taken place in the SPL. • Hearts have never scored more than one goal against Inverness CT. • Paul Hartley is the top scorer in the fixture with 2 goals. • One goal has been scored in the last 3 meetings. The last two matches have both finished goalless. TOP SCORERS 2 goals: Hartley (Hearts) 1 goal: Tokely, Wyness, Bagan, Juanjo, Dods, Wilson (all ICT), Wales, Skacel (all Hearts). PLAYERS TO WATCH Mark Brown (Inverness CT): The Scotland future-squad goalkeeper is a key part of the Inverness CT. He signed for the club in the summer of 2002 and has missed ONLY ONE game since then. He missed the home game against Dunfermline in order to give Michael Fraser a chance. He is a sensational stopper and was man of the match when Inverness CT shocked Celtic for the 2nd time in 2003. He is very much on the fringes of the Scotland squad and with most of his performances last season; he probably deserved a game at least. He has the determination to become the first ever Caley Thistle player to win a full Scotland cap. A great credit to the club, already a club legend and has done well especially in difficult games. Paul Hartley (Hearts): The former St Johnstone man had a terrific season last season for the Jambos. He is now a permanent addition to the Scotland squad and always gives 100% for both club and country. He has been speculated for moves to Rangers and Celtic but currently remains at his beloved Hearts. He has just returned from injury and came on as a sub against Rangers last week and is likely to feature against Inverness CT. Inverness CT 3-1 Dumbarton - CIS Cup

Goals from Wyness, Bayne and McAllister saw off Dumbarton and allowed Caley Thistle to advance to the 3rd Round of the CIS cup.

Wednesday 23rd August 2006  Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, Inverness  INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE FC  3 (Wyness 6, Bayne 54, McAllister 72) Team: Brown, Tokely (McBain 78), McCaffery, Munro, Golabek, Wilson, Hart (Keogh 61), Duncan, Morgan, Bayne, Wyness (McAllister 67)
Subs: Rankin, Fraser
DUMBARTON FC  1 (Dobbie 30) Team: Grindlay, Geggins (Boyle 47), Craig, Brittain (McKeever 89), Canning, Dillon, Bagan, Gentle, Borris, McNaught, Dobbie (Quitongo 82)
Subs: McCann, Shaw
Referee  Calum Murray  Attendance  1085  Man of the Match  Graham Bayne
Caley Thistle moved into the third round of the CIS Cup with this 3-1 win but it was not all plain sailing. Aberdeen’s defeat at the hands of Queen’s Park the night before was a lesson to all that lower division opponents must be taken seriously – but there was never any chance that Dumbarton would be treated lightly.
In the event they put up a good fight until the home side’s third goal went in 20 minutes from time. Barry Wilson returned to the ICT starting line-up after missing the Celtic match and Craig Dargo dropped out through injury. Graham Bayne partnered Dennis Wyness up front and there were also starts for Stuart McCaffrey, Stuart Golabek, Richie Hart, Russell Duncan and Alan Morgan. Dumbarton featured ex ICT favourite David Bagan and new loan signing Stephen Dobbie from St Johnstone.
Caley Thistle started well and took the lead in just five minutes. An Alan Morgan corner on the right was mishandled by ‘keeper Stephen Grindlay and Dennis Wyness took it on the turn from close range – he found the net via a touch from defender Mark Canning.
ICT pressure continued but nothing quite came off. Dumbarton crept back into it and in 28 minutes a Bagan rising shot from 18 yards was touched for a corner. A minute later Dobbie raced past the home defence amidst futile offside claims and fired an angled shot past Mark Brown from the left side of the box. Dumbarton pushed for a second and in 32 minutes Chris Gentile slid onto a ball eight yards out but it crept past the post.
Caley Thistle had chances close to the half time whistle with a Wyness overhead shot cleared, a Graham Bayne effort blocked then a Ross Tokely header turned for a corner.
Half Time: 1-1
The home side regained the lead in 53 minutes when a Wilson free kick into the box was headed low past Grindlay by Bayne.
Russell Duncan hit over the bar on the hour mark then, after further Caley Thistle pressure, substitute Rory McAllister scored the goal of the match in 70 minutes. Liam Keogh intercepted a half clearance then found McAllister 25 yards out – with no hesitation the striker lobbed it past Grindlay for only his second senior goal.
There was no way back for a tiring Dumbarton side but they did manage to prevent further damage. Bayne hit over the bar in 74 minutes then with five minutes left a confident McAllister tried a first time shot from six yards but he was off balance and it also cleared the bar.
In the final minute ‘Man of the Match’ Graham Bayne headed goalwards but it was blocked and his follow up shot went wide right. A good evening’s work – a potential banana skin avoided and a place earned in the third round of the cup.

PLAYERS TO WATCH Graham Bayne (ICT): The Caley Thistle forward came on as a sub against Celtic and made a big impact. His physical presence is a nuisance for any defence. He has not started a game yet this season but is in line for a starting place shortly, and may well start against Dumbarton on Wednesday. Jose Quitongo (Dumbarton): The striker has signed a months deal to cover for the injured John Gemmell. He is hoping to move back to Portugal to play football which is why this is just a short-term contract. He was released by Partick in the summer. His previous clubs were Benfica, Darlington, Hamilton (3 spells), Hearts, St Mirren, Kilmarnock and Alloa. He will be aiming to show he still has his touch.

Inverness CT 1-1 Celtic - SPL

Grant Munro scores a late equaliser at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium to cancel out Stephen Pearson's first half strike. Club Historian Ian Broadfoot supplies the official report.
Inverness CT 1-1 Celtic
16th September 2006 Tulloch Caledonian Stadium Inverness Caledonian Thistle  1 Munro (80) Team: Brown, Tokely, Dods, Munro, Hastings, Keogh, Black, Rankin (Duncan 90), McBain (Hart 79), Dargo, Wyness (Bayne 69).
Subs: Fraser, McCaffrey, Sutherland, McAllister.
Celtic  1 (Pearson 26) Team: Boruc (Marshall 45), Wilson, Caldwell, McManus, Wallace, Nakamura, Jarosik (Zurawski 60), Lennon, Pearson (Beattie 85), Miller, McGeady.
Subs: Telfer, Sno, Varga, Cuthbert.
Referee Craig Thomson  Attendance 7332  Man of the Match     Grant Munro’s fourth club goal, ten minutes from time, earned Caley Thistle a well deserved draw – particularly on their excellent second half performance. The match was live on Setanta TV and Celtic manager Gordon Strachan was forced to watch it from the stand as he started a two-match banishment.   Charlie Christie made one enforced change with Liam Keogh making his 100th appearance in place of the injured Barry Wilson.   As usual the visit of either of the Old Firm leads to a capacity crowd and this was no different. 50 freeloaders also enjoyed the match from the A9 embankment. Celtic had the better of the first half but could not make their superiority really count.   The first serious chance of the game came in 15 minutes when Celtic’s Jiri Jarosik turned and shot from 20 yards. Mark Brown was equal to the task and made a good save. In 23 minutes a John Rankin 30 yard free kick rebounded off Neil Lennon and safely back to Artur Boruc. The opening goal came three minutes later from a long clearance following an ICT attack. Shunsuke Nakamura found Kenny Miller and, with the defence short handed, he flicked the ball low from the right of the box past Darren Dods and Stephen Pearson slid in to put the ball behind Mark Brown. Celtic looked well in control for the rest of the half but Rankin did have two good strikes as the half time whistle loomed. His first was a 25 yard rising effort which Boruc dived to touch over the bar. He then tried a low shot from the same distance but this time it went just wide.   Half Time: 0-1   David Marshall replaced the injured Boruc at half time and he had to face a rejuvenated Caley Thistle. Kenny Miller did have the space and time to put Celtic two up in 58 minutes but he shot early from the left side of the box and Brown collected easily. A Dennis Wyness lob from 18 yards just cleared the Celtic bar in 64 minutes and this was the striker’s last touch before Graham Bayne took his place. Bayne was immediately put through by Rankin, after good build up play from Craig Dargo, but his angled shot was held by the diving Marshall. In 68 minutes a Bayne flick set up a Dargo chip which went over the advancing Marshall but just wide. Celtic substitute ‘Magic’ Zurawski took a Gary Caldwell pass on the right of the home box in 71 minutes but shot over the bar. A McGeady low shot was held by Brown in 77 minutes then the equaliser came three minutes later. Substitute Richie Hart’s first touch was a corner from the left which came off the head of Darren Dods and seemed destined to run for a goal kick. Bayne had other ideas and did well to keep it in play before crossing into the box. It deflected into the path of Grant Munro 18 yards out and he powered it past the helpless Marshall to set the home section of the stadium alight. The Celtic backlash was inevitable and it nearly paid off two minutes later – Miller stretched for a cross from the right just a couple of yards out but he was off balance and it went wide. Brown held a McGeady chip then into added time Pearson blasted wide from 20 yards. The home side could just have sneaked it in the final two minutes. Dargo and Hart combined to give Bayne a sight of goal but he hit wide. Then, with seconds left, a long ball out of the Caley Thistle defence was chased by Bayne and Marshall. Bayne stretched to get a touch 30 yards out but it had no power and the defence recovered to clear.   Full Time: 1-1   Disappointment for Celtic, a fine point for the home side and tenth place retained.

St Mirren lost their 100% winning start at Celtic Park as they went down 2-0. Goals from McManus and Petrov gave Celtic the deserved three points. Aberdeen beat Motherwell at Motherwell thanks to a Darren Mackie double. The surprise of the weekend came on Sunday when Rangers failed to impress anyone as they stumbled to a 1-1 draw away to Dunfermline. Buffel’s opener was quickly cancelled out by Morrison. The Pars deserved their point at least. Hearts and Falkirk lead the table with 7pts after 3 games and Motherwell are rock bottom with still no points. Inverness CT: 2 wins (0 League, 2 Cup) Draws: 1 (1 League, 0 Cup) Celtic: 6 wins (5 League, 1 Cup) A GAME TO REMEMBER For this weeks game to remember we take you back to one of the biggest cup shocks of all time. After Inverness CT won 3-1 at Celtic Park, nobody thought the achievement could be repeated on the 23rd March 2003 in the Scottish Cup Quarter-final. This was due to a much stronger Celtic now with Martin O’Neill in charge had just reached the UEFA Cup Semi-Finals. But nobody told Inverness CT this as there defending was rock solid throughout. Mark Brown was solid in goals as was the whole defence especially McCaffrey who man-marked Henrik Larsson out of the game. The whole team were playing really well and when Dennis Wyness was on hand to slot Richie Harts cross into the net, people across the world were wondering, could Caley go ballistic again? After heavy pressure by Celtic in the second half, they held out deservedly and marched onto their first every Scottish Cup Semi-final where Dundee would wait at Hampden. The attendance on the day was 6050 and the man of the match was Mark Brown. The teams were as follows: INVERNESS CT: Brown, McCaffrey, Munro, Mann, Golabek, Tokely, Hart, McBain, Robson, Wyness, Ritchie. Subs- Christie (for Robson), Keogh (for Ritchie), Stewart, Bagan, Fraser. CELTIC: Sanchez Broto, Valgaeren, Varga, Laursen, Smith, Lennon, McNamara, Fernandez, Guppy, Maloney, Larsson. FACTS BETWEEN THE TEAMS • All League meetings between the teams have taken place in the SPL. • Inverness CT have never won a league match against Celtic. • John Hartson is the top scorer in the fixture with 7 goals. Dennis Wyness is the top scorer for Inverness CT with 3 goals. • The last meeting was on 22/3/2006. Celtic won 2-1 in the midweek fixture. The attendance was 57451. TOP SCORERS 7 goals: John Hartson (Celtic) 3 goals: Dennis Wyness (ICT) 2 goals: Barry Wilson (ICT), Craig Beattie (Celtic), Alan Thompson (Celtic), Shaun Maloney (Celtic) 1 goal: Sheerin, Ritchie, Moravcik (own goal), Dargo Hart (all ICT), Burchill, Petrov, Sutton, Bellamy, McManus (all Celtic). PLAYERS TO WATCH Dennis Wyness (Inverness CT): Wyness signed again for the club during the summer after a successful loan spell last season. Dennis has not scored in 11 games and there is no better team to break the duck against. His last goal was at Tannadice in February. If Wyness doesn’t start scoring soon, Graham Bayne may well be due a starting place. However Wyness is a player capable of scoring goals in the SPL and I have every confidence he will start scoring again very soon. He is the top scorer for Inverness CT in this fixture. Kenny Miller (Celtic): The ex-Hibernian, Wolves and Rangers player has yet to score for his new club since joining for free in the summer. He made a brave decision in moving back to Glasgow on the other side of the Old Firm but he believes he was right. The Scotland forward is a Bayne-like player who doesn’t just score goals but can cause trouble for the opposition defence and can unsettle them. He is the sort of player I think that once he scores one, he will score for fun, just like Craig Dargo. As long as he doesn’t start this weekend I will be happy.
