Terry & Mos' Record So Far

Now that they've had a couple of months at the helm there are quite a few posters questioning their ability and putting the responsibility for our destiny firmly on their shoulders.

Personally I think this is a bit unfair as they have inheritted a demotivated, depleted SPL squad firmly rooted at the foot of the table. What they have acieved thus far is to re-instill the hope that many of us had lost.

Were Brewster still at the helm at this point, I doubt that we'd have any hope at all of surviving but we are not down yet. There are 8 games to go and if we can win half of them we'll be hosting the SPL again next season.

We have 4 home games at least to go and the generous offer of cheap tickets to attend those matches. Let's get behind the team no matter what happened the previous game and shout and sing for the team to exceed the expectations of all the pundits again.

Did you know that the so called "Managerial Honeymoon Period" doesn't exist? It's a proven fact apparently.

;) :rotflmao: :thumb04: :018: Feck me I wish 5th Stand and Renegade were a figment of the imagination - Feck adding it to the other thread put it in Anything Goes.

wait a minute IHE...5th stand is making an opinion...why do you feel the need to be-little poeple with your bile

perhaps you dont have enough salt on those chips of yours

looking at this season, TB has been in charge for 9 games and his stats are:

P9 W4 D2 L3 F9 A7 Win%=44.4 Draw%=22.2%, L%=33.3%

Brewster was in charge for 26 games this season and his stats were:

P26 W7 D3 L16 F27 A42 Win%=26.9 Draw%=11.5%, L%=61.5%

So while the "honeymoon period" may be over with the bad result(s) against Falkirk, TB and MM have undoubtedly started to turn us around.

I dont think the performance against Falkirk was acceptable, but I am sure that TB/MM know that as well as we do and probably more. By the same token, one bad result is not the end of the world so long as we learn from it and make progress. Under CB I have real fears it would have been classed as someone else's fault (the world class goal, the bad decisions, or some other Bull****) but I am sure that TB and MM will actually learn from these mistakes, will point out these things to players and will ensure we get enough points between now and the end of the season to stay up.

That's what I like about Scotty....

His glass is always half full...

Is there not a superior like minded thread that this drivel can be added to ?

There's too many superior like minded posters on them though. :rotflmao:
