Youngest player senior appearance

With the two young subs coming on at last night's NoS Cup game I was wondering if Liam Polwarth is now the youngest player to make a senior appearance for ICT? :tonguecheek:

Any stattos out there who know - and out of curiosity who is our youngest player to have made their league debut (SPL or otherwise) as Aberdeen had a 16-y-o (Fraser Fyfie) in their team on Saturday. :023:

I'm not sure if the NoS Cup is really classed as senior, as far as stats are concerned.

Don't know the answer to your question though, but wasn't Hastings very young when he made his debut? Or was that for Caledonian rather than ICT?

Here you go, from the Team Info/Stats & Facts section of this site:

17 years 94 days - Richard Hastings v Queen's Park 20.08.94

17 years 98 days - Neil MacDonald v Airdrie 15.04.00

17 years 100 days - Mike Sanderson v Cowdenbeath 04.03.95

Nick Ross can't be much older than them.

Nick was born 11/11/91. His debut was against Montrose in cup at age 17 yrs and 256 days. League debut was as sub against Ayr at age 17 yrs 277 days. That is if my mental arithmetic stands true.

Did Wayne Addicoat not play against County in the 3rd Division when he was 16? Also, Niall Calder wason the bench against Partick Thistle when he was 15.
