More money grabbing

Featured Replies

Id be pretty darn hacked off...if my team finished in 4th place overall....only to see a team potentially 10 pts behind them, in 7th place, win the 4th CL spot. Its becoming a farce. Even then....How can you have teams in anything less than first place compete in a "Champions League"? It should only be the Champions from each competing country IMO

EPL v CL

Don't they get enough money as it is without reverting to this pointless idea.

To be fair at least they are doing something, which is a lot more than can be said for the SPL. As painful as it is to say the EPL leads the way for every other league in the world because they are willing to adapt and develop. I am sick of watching the SPL and have been for sometime... until someone has the balls to make real changes to our league set up we will be struggling financially

I would have of agree with that SMEE. It's all about money grabbing and ripping off the fans. TV and sponsorship is to blame I reckon.

Anything that breaks the stranglehold of the big 4 can only be a good thing .

It started out that way back in the early 90's. But UEFA's favoured nations didn't do at all well in the first few seasons, so they were given more places to improve their chances.
