After the cricket scandal this is not what Scottish Football would want if true. This may be pure coincidence with Jennings an ex-Liverpudlian being wrongly associated with people from Liverpool involved in high odds betting on a Motherwell player being sent off. This was potentially a very tense match given the position of the teams in the league.

Having seen the highlights this morning I thought he was a tad fortunate not to have conceded a penalty or bookable offence on the edge of the box late on. The subsequent penalty appeal seemed to mark him down as a bit of a fool.

Maybe Brown's move to Aberdeen was a smart move after all!
