He must be getting absolutely sick of this....

'When Saturday Comes' magazine felt obliged to included Rooooooooneighs miss in their weekly email.

He's just been supersceded by Gary Hooper v Dundee United. That miss was worse than Adam's by a mile.

It is inevitable that even the best of strikers will miss sitters from time to time. Far from being fed up with the publicity, I would guess Adam is quite pleased with it as the publicity only draws attention to a wider public that he is a striker of a caliber you would not expect to miss such chances. Far from playing on his mind, he tucked away 2 important goals yesterday to demostrate that he is a striker on form.

The fact is that Rooney is getting himself into goal scoring positions and as long as his team mates can deliver good balls to him he is going to score with some regularity. He will not bother about missing a few and neither should we.

His left foot finish for the third was the perfect finish.

:clapping:

Top striker in the Scottish top tier misses a sitter. The upshot is that a lot more people who are in a position to further his career now know who he is.
