Possibly to do with the Edinburgh Festival and it being school hols?

Try the Pitfirranehotel.co.uk its in Crossford slightly west of Dunfermiline taxi required,the rooms are cheap if a little tired and the meals are good with a good breakfast too,just make sure its not a room at the front as its noisy from the traffic. Ive stayed there when the premier inn is booked up. only down side is that the rooms are getting tired but the price reflects that.

Booking.com says 3 rooms available 37.50 but best to phone the hotel
