Good deal for United nabbing him. I would have liked to see us going for him but to be honest if it came down to a choice between ICT and Dundee United you would have to think he would chose United.

Good player but he has to be better than A.Shinnie or Tansey at least. Not sure he is. With Cox returning to defensive mid duties, I think Tansey might well turn out to be one of the best players we've ever had as an attacking mid. Give him another year and he'll be the heartbeat of the team. Don't think it would do either him or ICT any good if he leaves before then.

Gardyne is a wonderful player but there are times where he has been a bit of a passenger in that County team. Will be a big test for him to see if he can hack it at this level. However i wouldnt have been bothered had it been us making the move to get him, good luck to him.
