Is'nt TV wonderful when it can cement us together although we are so far apart.

I don't know if I enjoyed the game or enjoyed seeing the team I hear about so often on here.

last night was brutal !!!! 26 shots and couldnt score ! Wednesday night made up for the 9 years of shocking results and glimpses of what might be .... Toronto FC have qualified for the playoffs and could still win the eastern conference (with help from other results). 

Sebastian Giovinco, fresh off the plane from Italy at 4PM managed to make it to the ground and be on the team lines as a sub for the game that kicked off at 7PM (after pleading with the manager over texts while on the plane back to be listed on the team lines). Came on in 71 minutes and absolutely ripped the Red Bulls anew one with this candidate for goal of the season. 

 

 

Vancouver don't seem to have the full measure of the NY team. They just win against the Whitecaps in the last minute or in some other bizarre way. But they are normally a team to be reckoned with.

Play-offs looming up.

Stadium development (phase 2) well underway now .... last year they added a second tier to the east stand (the one in the Giovinco video above) and this year they are building a roof over 3 sides of the stadium. Drove past it before Xmas and it looked impressive, but this video has some more details that make you realise the amount of engineering that goes into this.
