My pre season prediction of league goals scored based on previous six seasons stats for each player.

 

Nathan Austin pre season prediction between 13/20 goals

Apps 131/49 = ave 2.67 ( 36 apps predict 13 goals)

Starts 88/ 49 = ave 1.79 (36 starts predict 20 goals)

 

Jordan White pre season prediction between 11/15 goals

Apps 202/ 64 = ave 3.15 (36 apps predict 11 goals )

Starts 154/ 64 = ave 2.40 (36 starts predict 15 goals)

 

George Oakley pre season prediction between 7/11 goals

Apps 45/9 = ave 5.00 (36 apps predict 7 goals )

Starts 29/9 = ave 3.22 ( 36 starts predict 11 goals)

 

Last seasons Championships top scorers

Stephen Debbie 18 goals

Scott McDonald 15 goals

Lewis Morgan 14 goals

Nicky Clark 14 goals

Gavin Reilly 11 goals

 

Looking at last years top five we can look forward to Austin ,if he can keep fit, and White being in top five scorers this season and potentially Oakley too.

 

Think Robbo has got some choices to make as to who starts, maybe he will play all 3 of them.

Looking forward to see how it all pans out but we have got a chance with 3 good strikers imo.

Get a striker that scores 20+ or two that will do 15 or so each and that should get you the play-offs. Scottish football is pretty simple - find that elusive goal scorer and you can easily elevate your team even up to a false position - we did it before with Mckay, Motherwell = Moult, Kille = Boyd & Naismith, DUtd = Ciftci etc the list can go on

Davy Johnston  and Willie Grant with Chic Allan supporting would go down a treat.

good point re the 20 goals striker or having two that could get get 15 or so ,last year St Mirren had 3 players in top six scorers as had Cameron Smith on 10, I think we are in a great position this season that we  could possibly have 3 players in top six,and we all know what St Mireen did.
