With the draw for the WC qualifying groups taking place on Sunday, my scientific analysis of previous draws leads me to believe they will turn out something like this :

ENGLAND

Luxembourg

Guernsey

South Georgia

Both Scotland and England will finish 3rd in their groups.

as i understand it 13 teams from the europe group go to the finals made up of 9 section  winners and 4 more from play offs between 8 best runner ups.

Us V Engurland for a place in the finals........ya can just see it now eh?

how do they work out best runners up if were in a group of five with less points possible than group of 6 ??

The results against the bottom-placed teams are ignored for the countries in groups of six.

The only 5 team group :

Holland

Scotland

Norway

Macedonia

Iceland

Could be better, could be worse. Good chance of being runners up and getting a play-off.

If we can continue where we left of in UERO I believe we can win this group. Holland are not doing it at the moment. Norway are reasonable but beatable. 12 points from Macedonia and Iceland is a must though.
