Juanjo will not be coming back

Featured Replies

More worrying is the quote that he is not looking at any more defenders! Our defending was the weakest link last season and unless McGuire's injury really affected his performances drastically he didn't look like the answer

Its ashame. I feel who would have done good had he come back  :009:

To be fair I hope we see a lot more of Kerr and Duff. Both over six foot and twelve stone they've worked very hard in the last few years to come through to the first team and, like Vigurs, Wood, Gillespie and Sutherland, should be allowed the chance to show what they can do. Not only does this help them in their careers it also shows the other youths that the opportunity is there if the work is put in.

We have potential and, I believe, very good back up in those players.

Oh and the Marius Andy partnership is going to reap so many goals that defence wont matter too much.........like back in the Pele days when we could let three in cos we knew we'd score four. :003:

If Juanjo is not coming to us now, does that mean he will sign for C*nty then we will pick him up after he has a great season there?

Juanjo is history so Guy Kerr needs to move on up. He has the right shape for a good defender but needs to really believe in himself particularly after his breakthrough at the end of last year. Investing in him if he makes the breakthrough this year will be far better than re-investing in Juanjo despite Juanjo being a decent person.
