Should Duff Keep His Place?

Reading the P&J it seems Munro is likely to come straight back into the side at the expense of Duff. Perhaps it's to be expected but it seem slightly unfair on the young lad, who, despite the very obvious mistake against Hamilton, has played pretty well.

Should it not be the case that the player in possession of the jersey should keep his place if he's doing the job asked of him or is that just wishful thinking? Dods, for example, sat on the sidelines for months until MacAfffrey got suspended and never looked back after that.

If this is true then I think our manager has made the right decision. It's not always about the best individuals but rather how they preform as a team/partnership - from what I've seen Munro/Mcguire doesn't work

i would like to see duff and munro today they are the future and im sure duff knows all about dargo and wyness another solid display today then onwards and upwards :rotflmao: :thumb04: :018:

Want to see Duff keep his place. See how he does for an extended run. Maybe bring Munro on for Maguire later in the game if scoreline is ok and allow him to regain fitness and forge a partnership with young Duff.

I believe that McGuire has thrived on being the senior partner in the heart of the defence and has taken on that roll well giving Duff plenty of encouragement. He does not seem to do so well when Grantie is in charge having to toe the party line. Difficult decision for Brew, but whichever one he makes it should not make too much difference as they all are capable players. Mehmet could influence Brew's choice, as he is the one likely to muscle into our defence. Keep him quiet and all will be OK.

ps, Please attack the ball Phillip, don't let it bounce before hoofing it, you know it makes sense.
