  1. So our long hold onto 5th position came to an end tonight, as Motherwell beat Aberdeen. Having not won in 11, im rather surprised we have held onto it for so long, although other teams have games in hand. Could get a whole lot worse on Saturday if we are beaten by the boys from Perth, and Dundee Utd get a win. Heres to getting back to winning ways on Saturday and climbing back up the league before falling down. Just hope injuries and suspensions give us better options for it

  2. The teams around us will pick up points and they'll drop points. A top six is still very much on the cards and very much in our own hands. We have to start by taking all three against St J. Hibs have won a couple of games but they are still struggling. Dundee United have not been anything brilliant this season and will start to suffer with injury and backlog. Motherwell are totally lacking in confidence and consistency. Its all doable and in our own hands and if we could get some players back fit in the run in we have the advantage.

  3. Stewards are just another reason why attendances are dropping all over Scotland,Do the people at the clubs not realise that they have to hold on to the customers they have left and start treating them with respect not like cattle Football fans all over the country are being treated like scum by people who crave a little authority that they wouldn't otherwise get in their mundane lives,a luminous jacket changes that and a large percentage of them cant wait to use their authority just clowns The Government really needs to get the bill for safe standing at football through in time for next season, the lack of atmosphere in grounds terrible and something needs to be done quickly,it works very effectively in many other european country's so why not here,Bayern Munich have a great safe standing sections which encourage a very vocal support, everyone has a standing number similair to a seat number,no problems

  4. Couldn't decide which forum to post this in (ICT, general nonsense, Olde Inverness) so just thought I would bung it in here. I was delighted to read this week that John Beaton was given the Merit Award at the Scottish FA's Grassroots Awards. Having played under John as a youngster for Inverness United and known the efforts and time that he dedicates to football I really feel that this kind of recognition is not only well deserved but potentially overdue. He is certainly one of the good guys around and there can't be many people involved in Inverness football who haven't had some kind of dealings with him. An absolute gentleman and I can't think of anyone who would have a bad word to say. Cheers to John

  5. Maybe could try 4-3-1-2 with Doran having free reign behind the strikers.

  6. We have to play United twice in March, they have a backlog of games and they also have a few injuries mounting up so anything can happen. I too though think that Utd will probably sneak in above us but it is still very tight. A run of 3 or 4 wins would change things completely - just look how Killie have faltered recently and not kicked on. There is still a lot to play for. We shall see, starting on Saturday, if the players really do believe they can claim a top 6 finish. Three points against St.Johnstone is a must.

  11. After yet another stewarding debacle, does anyone feel strongly enough to boycott the Hibs game? I think we all have a rough idea as to what'll happen two weeks on Saturday.

  12. He was a cracking player that always gave his all. Defensively he was the most solid left back we've ever had and if he'd been selected ahead of Zadi we would have never been relegated. All the best to him.
