  1. On Wednesday We Played Like We Were On Sky Sports, Today We Played Like We Were On BBC Alba

  2. Delighted to hear he played well again. But can anyone explain why he seldom demonstrated his importance to the team earlier in the season? The obvious explanation is that he is now fighting hard to win a next contract (either here or elsewhere) but does that not sort of suggest that he wasn't giving 100% previously?

  4. I think the split is a good thing overall. What have we been playing for in the last 6 months? What have we been discussing all the time? Without the split, most of our season would have been a series of meaningless friendlies, with no chance of the title or Europe, and no chance of relegation. How dull would that have been?

  5. I wouldn't recommend this, but there's still an option - just field him anyway, and take a penalty for fielding an ineligible player. It's been done before!

  6. Dreadful game but we deserved the win. The battle between Duff & Goodwin to see who has the worst player on the park was the only thing of note that happened in the first half, Goodwin winning by the fact he injured himself whilst hacking down Eric. Despite going down to 10 we never looked in danger and could have won by more had it not been for St mirrens standout performer the crossbar

  9. In a further development, Sir Terence "The Butcher" last night celebrate victory after launching a serious of audacious attacks on the much feared Parkhid tribe, a fierce but primitive faction who live in caves in the west. "I sent in an elite squad of special forces and they didn't let me down" said the commander proudly. But media attention quickly focused on whether or not it would be appropriate to release a photo of vanquished tribal leader, Lennon. "I've seen the photo of his face" said Butcher. "And it's a truly gruesome sight, all hideous and contorted. To release that picture into the public domain would be distasteful and disturbing. And you've got to consider the impact an image like that would have on children who might see it. There could be lasting damage." "Followers of Lennon are also making the point that releasing the photo would be seen as parading a trophy. But I would suggest it's the only trophy they'd be seeing any time soon" he quipped.

  10. Not a spectacle to remember but another win and well deserved win on our part. Butcher's strong bench is what did the trick, MacDonald contributed very little and Odhiambo almost nothing, Rooney nearly got goal of the season with his first effort, was a swiveling overhead kick that cannoned off the bar. Took his goal well, lost his marker and found the corner from a long ball. Russell should not have been sent off. Happened right in front of me. Both he and Mair should have been booked for their scrap, Russell made the mistake of pushing Mair but Mair had a hold of Russell and it was a penalty in first place! Poor Russell was devastated as he left the pitch but recieved a standing ovation as he left. St Mirren have to be the worst team i've seen here all season. Even at 10 men we looked the better team and continued to press. The attacks they offered were easily dealt with. I still hope Butcher is reconsidering Munro's future. He gave another solid performance today and held the line together well. Also thought Tuffey had a solid display when called upon.
