Latest from Paul Chalk at P&J is that Alan Savage is in "no rush to sell the club now" and "as long as I pay the bills, why do we need to dash into anything? “For better or worse, the club is under my control, probably for quite a while. The mission is to do it game by game". Alex Ferguson has not provided any financial funds to the club but has offered advice. The transparency is almost frightening compared to the clandestine dealings we were subjected to over the last few seasons. This man is an absolute legend.

As we posted on our twitter account - a breath of fresh air! I am sure there will be stuff we disagree with him on as time goes on, but no-one can say he is just talking the talk, he is shooting from the hip, regardless if it offends our former CEO or the previous would-be 'owner' and putting some of his own money in. Thank You Alan Salvage™ (misspelling intended)
  3. Dear Sir Alex - he had 30 league games last season. How long does "a chance" last? I know that you had about 3 or 4 years at Man U before you were successful, but we must be well into "Fergie time" - that's Dunc Fergie time - by now.

With the way AS is steadying the ship, and the historic debt gone, I don’t think we need to worry about losing anyone’s interest in the short term. I’m confident we’re now in safe hands and feel if it takes a wee bit longer to secure a decent deal with a responsible, respectable and resilient new investor then it’s all good 👍
  5. Said in a previous post a while ago that SG and DF wouldn't be here in 2025. Still confident/hopeful of that being 100% accurate.
  6. To be realistic, he’ll have to have the team in a good position and playing well, or he’ll be given the curtains for Xmas!
  7. We will be looking to reduce the pinned threads once the current off-field situation eases.
  8. I felt 4-1 flattered Nairn a bit. Nairn looked dangerous at set pieces and obviously they had the physical advantage. I felt our 2 CBs Walker and I’m not sure who the other lad was Leo? did very well dealing with Nairn’s direct style. We certainly had 3 or 4 good chances but failed to convert them. Some of the build up play was very good at times. Ferguson Jnr had a few good moments in the first half but he hasn’t got his dad’s aggressive streak. That must be the youngest team to represent ICT in any match?
