  1. For the celtic & rangers B teams it's great preparation for European humpings.
  2. Tremendous effort by the Supporters Trust who have now managed to get a seat in the boardroom. Well done to George Moodie who has been driving the Trust forward and leading by example. What an effort over the last year to get to where they/we are right now. It's light years ahead of anything that had been previous offered and blocked by previous incumbents. TAKE A BOW ALL INVOLVED If you are a member you will have received the full details by eMail. Extract from eMail: Update to Members: November 2025: A Milestone Moment for the Supporters Trust It’s been a long time coming, but last week marked a significant milestone for the Supporters Trust. I had the privilege of attending our very first Board Meeting of the Football Club. This is something the Trust has worked tirelessly toward for many years. At times, it felt like a distant goal, but under new owner Alan Savage, we were warmly welcomed to the Boardroom table for the first time. The meeting was extremely positive. What’s clear is that the club is working hard behind the scenes on many fronts to drive progress. In particular, there’s a strong focus on reconnecting with the local community and building a stronger reputation both on and off the pitch. It’s exciting to be involved, to contribute, and most importantly, to bring the voice of supporters into the Boardroom. We’re now working on a way for members to share feedback on the issues that matter most and help us enhance the supporter experience at the stadium. Thank you for your continued support in getting us to this point. Now, the real work begins.

  4. I enjoyed that. A dominant performance and we should have been more than 3 up at half time, missing a couple of sitters and rattling the woodwork twice. By half time the ball was starting to stick badly on the stand side and that got worse as the second half progressed, making the conditions and play farcical at times. If it had been a league game I’m sure it would have been abandoned. The players stuck to the task though and got the scoreline up to 6, along with the woodwork being rattled again. Good game time for the likes of Alonge, plus the youngsters who came on in the second half. I’ve enjoyed the games in this competition but really wish it was Highland League teams we were playing rather than B teams.
  5. Well it’s looking like a fairly decent season so far sitting at the top of TWO leagues 😁 Nice one chaps, keep them goals coming now 👍
  6. Not such a good experience for most of the Premier league teams. You really have to wonder if these humpings they get ( mostly) will the players get any bebefit?
  7. If it weren't for loans over the last couple of seasons, we might be in League 2 (or worse). Just saying. I would also venture that the precarious nature of Scottish football outside the top half of the topflight makes it impractical for many teams to put together that "full playing squad" without loans. It gives the clubs some financial respite and the top clubs an outlet for young, talented players to get more game time ... in the same way we loan many of our young guys to the Highland League. My comment about internationals at the top of the post was a surprise that Alloa had multiple internationals, not of the system itself. agree

How did this not happen to Gardiner??? WOW!!! That's the way to do it... Latest from the Scotsman SPFL club rocked as owner and director deemed unfit by Scottish FA and ordered to stand downClub plunged deeper into crisis after governing body ruling Hamilton have been told by the Scottish Football Association that owner Seref Zengin and director of football Gerry Strain are not deemed “fit and proper to hold a position within association football”. The governing body has ordered the crisis-hit Accies to ensure that, with immediate effect, the pair no longer carry out any role, be involved in the management or administration, or exert any power whatsoever over management or administration of the League One club. “The Scottish FA has written to Hamilton Academical to notify that, following investigation, neither Seref Zengin nor Gerry Strain are fit and proper to hold a position within association football, in accordance with Scottish FA Article 10.3,” read an SFA statement on Tuesday.
