I enjoyed that. A dominant performance and we should have been more than 3 up at half time, missing a couple of sitters and rattling the woodwork twice. By half time the ball was starting to stick badly on the stand side and that got worse as the second half progressed, making the conditions and play farcical at times. If it had been a league game I’m sure it would have been abandoned. The players stuck to the task though and got the scoreline up to 6, along with the woodwork being rattled again. Good game time for the likes of Alonge, plus the youngsters who came on in the second half. I’ve enjoyed the games in this competition but really wish it was Highland League teams we were playing rather than B teams.

Six well taken goals : hopefully this might pull through to the league where, although we are dominating most matches, we are usually just squeaking through by the odd goal......... Looking forward to going to Alloa on the 25th.
