  1. 13 Attempt saved. Graeme Shinnie (Inverness CT) left footed shot from more than 35 yards is saved in the top left corner by Cammy Binnie (Linlithgow Rose). 17 ICT forced a couple of corners before Ryan Duncan fired home from the centre of the box. Invernes won four corners on the trot shortly after that came to nothing before Morgan Bates shot over. 38 Paul Allan saw an effort from outside the box saved by Binnie and Noa Boutin was on hand to score a great second for the visitors. We finished the half with a flourish as Bates shot wide and Alfie Stewart was denied by Binnie. HALF TIME: 0-2 46: We started the second half still on the front foot with Binnie keeping Bates out on the restart. 55: Paul Allan was played through but Binnie saved again. 60: Alfie Stewart's corner was sent goalwards by Bates but it was cleared off the line. 62: Shinnie's ball saw Duncan bring out a good low stop from the keeper. 72: Substitute Liam Sole fired one in from range but once more Binnie denied the visitors, and Hamzad Kargbo netted moments later but was flagged offside. 77: Ross Munro was called into action to save from Calum Rae and two minutes later Danny Devine headed over and Rae fired another effort over the bar from outside the box. 83: Kargbo met Allan's cross into the box but Binnie stood firm. 85: Last big effort of the game fell to Jordan Tosh's head with Munro saving. Inverness saw out the game relatively untroubled to move second in group F behind St Johnstone who inflicted a third straight defeat on Morton. Inverness are at home to St Johnstone on Tuesday night.
  2. 1 point
To me there have been some great supporters at this world cup - the Tartan Army and the Norwegian supporters were the best. The England supporters now have a chance to write 'Came 3rd' or '4th' on the thousands of replica winners trophies they waved at matches. The Golden Boot could go to a French or English player. With regard to the contentious decisions for most teams in the 2026 Tournament, probably the biggest ever in the history of the world cup was: ''Whether Geoff Hurst's famous "ghost goal" crossed the line in the 1966 World Cup Final remains football's most enduring controversy, but most scientific, frame-by-frame film analyses conclude that the ball did not fully cross the goal line.''
  3. I'll settle for third bottom
  4. finishing anywhere above 9th will do for me. Would prefer it to be comfortably above 9th, but consolidation this season is the key.
  5. We’ve been drawn against Strathspey in the first round and, if we win that, Rothes or Nairn in the second round. In theory both are at home, but we’ve tended to cede home advantage in this cup (apart from when we played Strathspey last season). Provisional dates are 2 and 30 September.
This leaderboard is set to London/GMT+01:00
