  1. I wanted a striped shirt sure but not because "it's what I wanted" I think it's part of our teams (and fans) identity and something we should maintain and build upon. As I said I will still put money into the club but in another form, it'd be folly in the current climate to as you suggest "throw the toys out". Also I'm fairly sure my Dad will purchase one as a gift and so the club are not missing out financially. I'm surprised by your response, regardless of whatever opinion you have on the strip.
  2. Yes it does. There are hundreds, no thousands, of teams who play in stripes of varying colours every season and their kits still vary and fans still buy them. Our most important/visible part of our brand identity is the shirt the players and fans wear, yet we constantly mess with this (and IMO get it wrong), there are no other teams in Scotland and only 1 in the UK I believe that play in red & blue vertical stripes, it's the ideal way to make us instantly identifiable and unique but we choose to ignore it. Try wearing a non striped ICT shirt in Glasgow and folk think you are a sevco fan: blue with red bits = sevco. And the same goes for most other parts of Scotland too, in fact Inverness is probably the only exception. Maybe it's because I work in the design industry that I feel the whole brand identity thing matters a lot, maybe I'm just need to get out more! Either way, I'll find a different way to put money into the club although I am sure my Dad will buy the shirt for me for my birthday (again - thanks Dad!). And I should add my opinion has no pre-merger influence whatsoever.
  3. We also got relegated in a predominately blue shirt.
  4. Errea have plenty of decent designs which have been shown on this thread. And yet someone chose this thing.
  5. FFS CALEY THISTLE - WTF??? How many times do the fans have to say it? STRIPES. I have every replica ICT shirt. Ever. I will not be buying this one. I give up.
  6. Portugal v Germany final IMO. Funny feeling Portugal will win this but I always support the Germans if Scotland are not there. So I always support the Germans in other words!
  7. Racist!
  8. He's selling his care = he's leaving! Really? WTF?? How some of the minds on here work (or don't) is terrifying. *** FOR SALE *** 2nd hand used car: 1 careful owner, never drove it at the weekend as he worked weekends. Only drove it in May/June across Scotland seeking new business deals (apparently). Driver's seat in good condition (apart form a few Nando's chicken stains) due to drivers small stature. Sale due to relocation and he's getting a lift in the removals van.
  9. As long as it's not a leaky as last season's I don't mind!
  10. Is this the poor teams equivalent of an EBT?!
  11. That's just not ethical!
  12. If only these rumours were all true. I'd simply love to have "McFadden" written on the back of my ICT top!
  13. Is he related to Pars "legend" Hamish French?!
  14. Like they could afford to turn down the money being offered.
  15. And coached by a certain Mr. Butcher at 'well.
  16. Oh FFS - will this sh1t never end? Just f**kin die won't you.
  17. You think Sky want to become known as "the rangers tv channel"? Don't be silly.
  18. See post #82.
  19. No. No. No. That is all.
  20. Berra's had plenty of chances IMO. He's never been particularly good in dark blue. Strange how it's not always the best players that do the best for Scotland. Compare McFadden's record for Scotland (when he was playing) to his league scoring record.
