  1. There seems to be a lot of younger ICT supporters which bodes well for us. I agree with what you say and while we will never rival the twins of evil for support I think we are in a better position than many other SPL/upper 1st division teams. We can only hope our support does increase over the years. I know a few folk who are ex season ticket holders from both sides of the OF who now have season books for ICT. I also know others who are OF supporters but attend ICT games and take their kids to the games as they do not want the kids to become OF supporters. These are positives but still we'll never rival them for support. I see no reason why in 15 - 20 years our attendances cannot become closer to the likes of Dundee Utd. however.
  2. Stuart McCall surely a much more realistic option and certainly ahead of our Terry.
  3. You've 'ad too much rum me thinks sailor!
  4. 41 players in the squad? Blimey!
  5. I don't think our Terry realises the full impact of letting so many players go during the close season. On Monday it was the first of August and I changed my ICT calendar and now have Roy McBain and Dani Sanchez on the wall in the hall for the month. Last month it was Grant Munro and Chris Innes... I'm not so sure that Terry and Mo have thought this through properly... what happens in December when we're well into the new season and I come bumbling through the door after a few festive sherbets and see two players on the calendar who I've no idea who they are / were? How is my good lady gonna learn who plays for us? Should my Dad get me another calendar for Christmas again this year? These are questions that I just don't feel the management has considered. I'm gonna write to the board about this. No - wait... I'm gonna write to my MSP. I'm going for a lie down.
  6. Apparently Scottish clubs in Europe are like Heather Mills... The second leg is just for show. (I'll get me coat!)
  7. Congratulations, hope all is well.
  8. Hope he's back soon, a good and important player for us.
  9. 10 possibilities for you: - swap them for shares in The News of the World. - take them apart and them put them back together in a random order to make "30 or so" strange/abstract programs. - exchange each one for an item of confectionery worth no more than 74p and see what sweet treats you end up with. - place them inside the hymn books of your local church to help those who attend get through a Sunday service after an excessive Saturday night. - take them apart and wallpaper a single wall in your bathroom with the pages. - use them to give reading lessons to c*unty fans. - put them in a pile, cling film them together real tight and use the resulting firm brick type object to stand on to reach items on the top shelf. - hide them in your local neighbourhood and then create a treasure map with clues to find each one in date order. - develop altzhiemers or demenia so you forget all the details then you can give yourself a fresh football treat every time you read them. - glue several pages together, then cut them into squares to make a series of assorted ICT beer mats. The choice is yours really, do whatever your heart desires!
  10. YEEEAAAHH!! Congrats.
  11. Must be Dean McDonald then.
  12. Aye, that's not too bad. I like the stripes down the side of the bloomers and the collar on the top.
  13. "Oh how tickled I am..."
  14. Alex, rangers will be at home so more than likely celtic will not be. I predict Killie at ibrox on the opening day. Killie always seem to get the champions or the other half of the O.F on the opening day.
  15. While that's not good news, all the comments from the player (and his agent going by that link) seem to suggest he's really keen to play for us.
  16. I hope this is not true and I suspect that is the case. I just cannot see another SPL club coming in for Ross, absolutely no disrespect meant to Ross there (he is my favourite player!), it's just that I think many other clubs don't view him in as high regard as we do. (which is their loss and our gain IMO) Unless he's got an offer outside of Scotland I just cannot see him wanting to drop down a division, unless there is a coaching roll involved. Either way I really hope it's not true but if it is I wish the big man all the very best.
  17. I'm happy with that signing. I remeber liking him when he was playing for Stranraer. Good luck to him, hope he does well for us.
  18. 9/10 too - got #4 wrong.
  19. That's gotta be nonsense really, think about it... First if the keeper has the ball in his hands then the ball has "come to a stop" so if he threw it (or kicked it) anywhere it would not really matter as it is a shoot out. If what you say was the case ("is the rule that play is still live until the ball comes to a stop?") then if a keeper saved the kick then someone could net the rebound surely. There are probably some wierd rules relating to shoot outs however. Caley D is your man for weird footie rules tho!
  20. I have a Jags scarf, it belonged to my Dad but I borrowed it to wear to the Challenge Cup final game against Alloa back in... (whenever it was!) as I'd left mine under a pool table I was dancing on the night before (don't ask!) and he's never got it back! I like the Caley v Jags banter and am proud of our Highland league past. One more thing... MON THE JAGS!!
  21. I'll swap you this for it...
  22. I agree however I do think Calderwood is a good manager, it will likely take him a long time to get the team where he wants but I think he's capable. Whether he'll get the time to do so however I doubt very much.
  23. I can confirm the better half was working last night and I had IKEA furniture to assemble so it was soup(pea and Ham) and a ham and coleslaw wrap. Just goes to show... Twitter is not always a realiable source! Latest Rumour however is that Alex is an agent touting his dinner around the place. And on the description he's supplied above (twice) I'm interested... Hope it's a free transfer!
