If you look purely at his record as Hibs manager he wasn't that bad. Not necessarily a roaring success but not the abject failure that Hibs fans would have you believe. Hibs fans wanted him out and refused to be swayed on that. He quit because he had no chance, the fans wanted him out at all costs. Look where that's got them! I think we are a lot better of with JH than Fat Penlon but not saying he couldn't do a job with us or any other Scottish club. He also looks like Penfold.

I find it crazy that people are saying that it was a mistake to get rid of TB. Yes he got us promoted and did a good job as ICT manager. But... Just look at his record at Hibs. They are playing in the first division next season FFS! When he took over they were, along with a good few other teams, in the running for a European spot. One win in 19 games. Relegated. His recored at Hibs is simply atrocious. The Hibs fans will never be able to trust him. A clean slate will be a good thing for Hibs and I expect in 2 or 3 seasons to see a vastly improved and superior Hibs team. I certainly hope so - I quite like Hibs!

I'd like to think it's not intentional and just the way the written word is read but this does come across with a tone of sexism in it. LD did her job well at M'well and in the background. Joining Hibs has made her higher profile and she's been asked to do a role with a higher profile as Petrie intends to step back, this just means we are hearing more of and from her - not that she is "starting to believe her own hype". The only person in this sorry tale who believed their own hype were the three stooges who left ICT.

P&B does my head in, every thread just ends up in insults and abuse. Somebody posts on there as "The KingBeastie" or similar (my username on P&B is just KingBeastie). I believe it's someone who was banned or went in a huff from here. It's not me and I've no idea why someone would want to pretend to be me in an online capacity! Still I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

We are constantly told it's the "Best League in the world", we are subjected to so much coverage of english football, we are told it's the only league that matters, everything else is just not as good. Some people believe it. I'd rather watch Motherwell v Hibs than Aston Villa v Fulham any day, at least it (may) affects a team I care about. Each to their own I guess.

The more I think about what's happened to Hibs since Judas took over the more I cannot believe he's not been sacked. They were a few points away from top 6 when he joined. They ended up getting relegated. They've won 1 game at home all year. The Hibs fans will never be able to forgive or trust him. They've got rid of so many players surely the management team should be replaced too, I just can't see the Hibs fans going back in great numbers while he's there. Better to replace now than a few games into the new season. My guess is it would cost too much to sack him/them. It is indeed a funny old game.

He got us relegated and then tried to scuttle off by applying for the Falkirk job. I wonder if he'll do the same this time? That Falkirk vacancy was available after their manager, a certain Mr. J. Hughes left to take over at... Hibs! It's a funny wee game eh!

IMO Esson would be the No.1 choice at many of our Premiership rivals, he's better than the first choice at many other clubs. I remember when our goalkeeping choices were Fraser and Ridgers. Big difference now. I think we will take in a striker. Whether to play alongside Billy or to challenge for his position I don't know, time will tell I guess. At least we're not worrying about losing many players during the silly season.
