  1. You've quoted my post and said the above, have I or my post/s upset you? I agree with what you have written BTW. I'd like the ability to block certain posts as they post absolute rubbish. Constantly. Many of the flippant comments I make on here are in response the overwhelming negativity being posted. I apologise if they come across in the wrong way.
  2. I heard a rumour that hibs are p1sh...
  3. Have you tried Google maps?
  4. Previous season I've looked at the early rounds of the Europa League, seen some of the team names and thought "how the hell do you pronounce that?!..." I love the thought of someone in Finland, Lithuania, Cyprus or wherever looking at "Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC" in the fixtures and thinking "f**k that!"
  5. Who should be relegated ? Partick. They offer nothing at all to the division. Cr@p ground, cr@p fans, cr@p away day. Who will it be ? Only Hearts. I think St. Mirren or partick will be in the play offs but be fine. I do however have a feeling gonzo will have his usual post split shocker and hibs will struggle. If it was up to you ? Hibs, for the that day when gonzo was in the boardroom at easter road while still being paid as our manager. Or aberdeen. I'd laugh for a month if they went down! Who should be promoted? Probably dundee as they've been top for a while. Although Hamilton are putting up a good fight. Who will it be ? I think it'll be dundee and falkirk most likely from the play offs (although I think the top flight team will be ok in the play off). I'd much rather Hamilton went up as I can't stand dundee or falkirk. falkirk is a horrid away day and they fans think they are a much bigger club than in reality. And dundee's much the same. If I was up to you ? I'd love Raith to go up, have a friend in K'caldy, a good away day too. And also QOS, great away day.
  6. Wow! That's an interesting stat. We've not been great lately against the other top half teams so it should be an interesting last few games. I actually think beating last seasons points total after the improvement in some of the other teams in the league (Aberdeen and Utd. being 2 prime examples) this season would quite a positive achievement.
  7. I want Hughes to succeed very, very much. I like him and as I've said on several posts I do feel that he and ICT have the potential to be a perfect match. What puzzles the bejezus out of me is why he'd resort to this tippy-tappy passing ethos when we have such strength in playing an attacking game. Yogi's been in charge of two great performances in tinkwall and had us playing some great attacking football and (rightly) earned a lot praise for it. So why try and change the playing style so radically? And also why do it as such a time when we have a huge backlog of games to play and the players are tired? IMO during this time they should have been told to play to their strengths, get a few wins on the board - some positive adrenaline further helping during a crazy fixture pile up. Anyway I hope he's learnt something about the squad and players and what the majority of fans want to see during all this.
  8. Do you remember those days?!
  9. Define "Mad" because there's every chance I might qualify under certain parameters. Be careful people don't start singing offensive songs about you then Don.
  10. Have you tried turning it off and on again?...
  11. I'd like us to finish this season with a higher points total than last season. In reality I just cannot see where we are going to a single point at all. Not a nice feeling.
  12. If there's a problem between the dressing room hopefully Ritchie will step up and represent the players point. I'm sure the board will listen to him.
  13. Not doubting the retaining possession element but when you do nothing with that possession or nothing that you couldn't do without having to use a system that the players don't seem to be able to work with I don't see the point. At M'well we were caught out with a long ball over the top and again in the home game I believe. I don't want us to be a long ball team just saying that there are other styles and that they can be mixed. Being good on the break was working very well for us I think.
  14. I wonder how a posters age influences their choices on this subject?... A lot I think. Anyway for me it is: - Pele - Robbo - Charlie - Gonzo - Brew the First - Baltacha - Hughes - Brew the Second I may swap Baltacha and Hughes about but you get the picture.
  15. One thing that get me about this "passing game" is that if you look at some of the goals we have scored using this style they are still struck from a long way out. What difference does the "passing stylish play" make if you end up striking from distance? This style of play is not needed and has no real bearing when a player strikes from further out. Maybe if we were passing or walking the ball into the net but we are rarely getting the ball into the net at all.
  16. I'm going to start the Paul Sturrock nonsense again! (purely for my own amusement you understand!)
  17. Charlie Christie until the end of the season. He won all his post split game 1-0. 5 wins out of 5! Imagine that. (imagine a win against a top 6 team again!)
  18. I liked the quick counter attacking game we used to play. As we seen it certainly effective away from home. I'm not convinced by this "passing game" pish. Even if we do get the players playing this style well are we going to win more games?...
  19. He certainly looks like he's aged. A lot. Have I sympathy?...
  20. A lot of teams in the league this year are a lot stronger than they were last season. How many points did we finish last season with?
  21. Don't worry, you've no chance of us supporting any of the manky unwashed or weegie overspill down here. Although Capital Caley is now more keen on english non league football it seems!
  22. As I've mentioned previously, I can see Hughes and ICT being a really good potential match, but unfortunately more and more I just don't see it falling into place. I hope we are proved wrong.
  23. He bottled the big games with us. This could get interesting!
