  1. Sconser again: The 'Raasay' in 1993. Dun Caan a very distinctive hill you can see from all over.
  2. Walked it in 1983 a couple of years after it opened I think. But I know that skyline well
  3. This is out by Tyndrum
  4. Eh? Coire Ardair surely? Creag Meagaidh.
  5. A classic day out Weeman
  6. “Sharpe was adjudged to have fouled Harper”
  7. No surprise there then. Probably just as likely a 4-2-3-1 with Allardice and Cammy holding but the bbc have got Samuels and MacKay on opposite wings.
  8. Carson was right back. Cammy was in midfield. Looked a bit like a 4-5-1 first half with Billy up front. Cammy Can’t wait to see the two belters again. Dundee dominated but tbh Ridgers never had a lot to do. Deas and Devine won nearly everything they could throw at us from their many free kicks and corners. McMullan was probably their best player. Looked a bit ominous when they were able to throw on players like McGinn, Rudden and McGowan but after the red card we just took the piss. Delaney looks like being a player
  9. Down near Scarista in Harris https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@57.811417,-7.057967,3a,75y,292.27h,77.43t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s90nYLwtNQoauCNm80eA-vA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192
  10. Just been watching a really good programme on Trusadh on BBC Alba about buses in the islands. It’s no 4/13 and it seems to be repeated on Tuesday at 2200.
  11. ‘O’ I see
  12. Craobh Haven?
  13. Only 5 on the bench, a mixture of youth and walking wounded. Ridgers kept us goalless at ht with a great save from Easton. Carson was booked for an off the ball incident and lost the place, and had to be restrained or he would no doubt have got another, to the glee of the home fans who gave him pelters from then on. Second half I thought we were superb. Defended brilliantly and never gave Rovers a sniff. Danny Devine was majestic. Great work by Daniel for the penalty but thought he had a quiet game, played pretty deep to help snuff out some of the threat down our left. When Billy came on for Oakley you could sense it coming, even a half fit Billy is an upgrade on George, sorry to say. Great work again by Daniel in the buildup and, well, he scores when he wants. Somebody else might want to comment on the bald steward who apparently assaulted a young lad at the celebrations for the second goal. Didn’t see it myself but made sure of a photo to identify him.
  14. Must be, very distinctive Free Kirk building in the middle
  15. Merc - E500 estate
  16. Is that Slioch by any chance?
  17. Just a bit of rust around the sills which I think he fixed, he’s had it a couple of years. The photo was taken in the yard where this guy sells classic cars. He’d probably remember the white car if I asked, it’s only a couple of miles away I might post a photo of my son’s other car (once Mrs Mantis gets off the computer), although he’s now selling it as it broke down in Lewis the other week and he had to leave it there. I took him up to Sneck on Monday and he went on to Ullapool on the bus and picked it up. It’s a 5litre Mercedes, 2004.
  18. How on earth was he suspended? He’s hardly played for us. Do suspensions incurred at another club get carried forward? Edit- I see he got booked against Cove in the LC section, and Arbroath in the League.
  19. My son has this 1988 BMW 3.5 litre which is a sort of hobby car as he seems to spend all his time working on it. He never seemed interested in cars till a few years ago. It only cost him £1750 though he makes up for that in parts etc.
  20. When I went to the Faroe Islands my rental car was changed to a VW Caddy. I hadn't kept the email and i assumed there was a rental desk at the airport. But there wasn't and I had no idea where to pick it up or what it looked like. The nice wee lassie at the tourist desk was able to sort it though and the keys were on the sun visor...
  21. I think you're somewhere about Coulags.
  22. Aye 5 miles each way...
  23. There's nobody on the planet less interested in gardens than me sorry But it's Little Loch Broom looking over at Beinn Ghobhlach. In the other photo it's Sail Mhor the big lump of a hill. So it's near Badcaul. Anybody been in to Scoraig?
