  1. pretty much agree with the ratings above Duncan was immense and without him in the team then i truly believe we may have lost that game Bulvitis was correctly hooked at HT as in my opinion he was being dispossessed too easily and was not winning enough 50/50s, Barrowman even won a couple of headers against him!! I think the score being level at half-time was more to do with good goalkeeping and questionable finishing rather than good defensive work. Tokely provided much more strength in the middle after the break.
  2. completely agree with that
  3. A draw is a cracking result for the chasing pack
  4. Im considering boycotting the rest of the week, had a poor day today!

  6. Yeah if Foran and Golly are out then that has to be the team. I've completely lost faith in Djebi Zadi and Shinnie hasn't has enough experience to start at left back in start in a must win away game. Highland news seem to think so, see bottom paragraph here Completely agree about Djebi Zadi and Shinnie
  7. Golly and Foran are both out of this game so i'd go with: ----------------------Esson---------------------- Proctor------Bulvitis---------Munro-----Tokely --------------Cox--------------Duncan---------- Hayes-----------------------------------Odhiambo ----------------------------Sanchez--------------- --------------------Rooney------------------------
  8. Whats worrying is that Foran is out for two games. This saturday against Morton and then against C#unty as well Also Golabek is out of this weeks game due to suspension. Theres going to be a few changes this weekend i reckon
  9. Couldnt find this posted anywhere else Terry completed his UEFA Pro License last week, story here Well done Terry :)
  10. Out of interest can anyone remember prices of items at the shop at present?
  11. seriously!! one step at a time!! whenever we tempt fate on these forums things backfire!!
  12. fare
  13. Booing or abusing our players is deplorable in my view, regardless of whether the player is in the team, out of the team, injured, playing badly or playing well. Shouting abuse or booing our players is in no way 'banter'. We are supporters of ICT so lets support the players!! Booing or abusing our own players is not supporting our team.
  14. I remember this starting with the booing of Rory McAllister when he was at the club which i was disgusted at. I think its a disgrace booing any of our players. The booing or abuse which Imrie received last night was terrible, there is absolutely no place for it in football or at our club. Imrie is without doubt an asset to the club, he can contribute greatly with his direct play, runs down the wing, set up play, free kicks and scoring the odd goal too. He may not be the finished article but is young and still realising his potential. Fans who boo their own players should hang their heads in shame, it not only alienates the players but must have a big negative influence on their confidence. Think how a future transfer target might view the club if he looks at the home support and finds out some of them boo or abuse their own players, even if it is a tiny minority, it is a trait the home support does not need or want! Good on you Dougie, keep it up, please ignore the stupid actions of a few young 'fans'
  15. hopefully he stays
  16. Couldnt agree more!!
  17. i would of told the team to keep on attacking, attack is the best form of defence. Dundee do not cope well when teams attack them however when teams sit back then they can and will punish them as shown on sunday. No subs until 70th minute or so to freshen legs but keep on attacking
  18. along the same lines but maybe this site could have a seperate part to the forum which could be self moderated but could have a disclaimer to say that posting is at scrutiny/mercy of other posters and responsibility should be the posters as things such as libelous posts may be prosecuted and shall not be moderated by the sites owners?
  19. personally i think that idea could work, seperate the chaff from the decent posts in one click, if enough people block certain users they will get the message
  20. What about an ignore function for the messageboard? I am on the site most days and will generally sift through 70-90% of threads, sometimes its been evident that threads have been hi-jacked for personal fights etc which have little to do with the thread. while being very difficult to moderate an ignore function would give users a chance to ignore people causing trouble. My guess would be if someone is ignored by enough posters then they may get the message that their input is not appreciated While everyone is entitled to their own opinion an ignore function would allow users to ignore certain posters if they deem them to be spoling threads PS. ignore this suggestion if such a system is in use, i havent personally noticed it PPS. it is a thankless task trying to moderate on this site so fair play to Scotty, Caley D and the team for doing what must be a very frustrating job at times :)
  21. i have yet to see anything official on either the ICT or County websites if pay at the gate is in operation. Can anyone clarify? If i have missed it somewhere apologies in advance
  22. :D
  23. Think he'd feel more at home in the away end with the county fans. Sitting next to Jerry today is Mr X whos brother is also his dad and uncle and grandfather. He also has 7 toes on each foot and is married to a sheep who happens to be his cousin!! :D
  24. same as last week please

    Corners

I think the two men at the corner approach is definately worth trying as it gives more options. It drags out two players from the box and regardless of size it means two less bodies to defend the corner. It was positive that we scored from a corner and could have had another when Duncan ran to the corner of the 18 yard box to collect a short corner and had a pop at goal which he should have had on target. It was a nice move though and caught the Morton defence off guard
