  1. who's playing on the left then? :024:
  2. i like the look of the line up today but its started woefully. shows what i know! :023:
  3. unbeliavable! 2-0 fletcher
  4. FFS, colin nish 1-0 :008:
  5. very suprised by the team tonight, McBain centre midfield? :024: would like to see Blackie on for McBain, cant see it though
  6. spot on! :clapping03: it looked like he was playing the same position again but with Cowie and his abundance of energy he was all over the park chasing down missed passes (which was all to often) or hassling the united defence. while i think cowie plays well in that position i feel he is a much more potent threat coming off the right wing, and with imrie looking dangerous on the left surely they should be our wide midfield men.when united scored we should have gone 4-4-2. that was always one thing i liked about CC, whenever we went a goal down or were chasing the game he would throw everything and the kitchen sink at the opposition, it was crying out for that yesterday and i think had that happened we would of had three points rather than one
  7. first part i partly agree with, i was suprised to see imrie start on the right which although not ideal for a left footed player but i thought he played very well there, i understand your point about not getting the quick cross in but all to often i noticed there was no-one in the box which i think contributed to delaying the quick ball. Overall i was very impressed with Imrie and i think he looks a real find and adds another dimension to our play, its just a case of getting the tactics to get the best out of him. IMO having imrie now screams out playing a 4-4-2 with imrie and cowie on the wings, duncan holding role and blackie pushing forward. The only time i would play our 4-5-1 (which incidentally doesnt work as well without Rankin) would be against the old firm. second part i completely agree with, when i saw bayne being brought on i thought that was what was going to happen, puzzled by hooking Niculae because i though the reason he wasnt having a great game was because he was so isolated and the high balls being thrown at him were always going to be easy for wilkie and kenneth. having bayne playing along side would give him someone to run off and pick up the second ball.
  8. Unless it is Rangers or Celtic they won't know. surely they get a team sheet before the game though and i would imagine they would have the ability to look at shirt numbers? phew, sounded a close one there, roy mcbain clearance off the line!! :010:
  9. the clowns on the radio just admitted they have no idea who was taken off for Imrie, shocking that commentators are so clueless and have such a poor knowledge of the players/teams they are commentating on!
  10. delighted that Granty has got the 100th, ICT through and through, inverness born and bred and club captain, who better to get it. :clapping03:
  11. get in!!! Granty well done! :crazy07:
  12. Oh yes, please God. Much gloating on P&B after that, eh? absolutely, the buddies on P & B seem to think this will be a walkover for them, us to win by 2 goals to nil and dargo scores the first :crazy07: a win will suffice though and hopefully it'll be a big GIRUY to them
  13. own goal... .. craig dargo ... .. :015: My money is on Cowie :022:

Who pays less? I could only guess Falkirk...and even then... (Gretna certainly were thought to be big payers) I would add St Mirren to the list along with Falkirk and probably Gretna as teams who may be below us or around about the same as us in terms of contracts. Dont think Killie are able to offer particularly big wages too hence Nish wanting to leave. IIRC St Mirren couldnt match our contract offer to Dargo before he left but Dargo had his mind set on heading back down to the central belt and left despite the offer of better wages.
  15. absolutely, what a shout :clapping03:
  16. report here from the main website. finshed 4-1, bayne hat-trick, wyness with the other
  17. although Baynes hat-trick for the reserves must surely put him in contention :024:
  18. FRASER TOKELY PROCTOR MUNRO HASTINGS DUNCAN COWIE BLACK WILSON NICULAE WYNESS
  19. 1) i'm not talking one or two quid, I dont think this problem is limited to ICT but the whole SPL has a vastly inflated ticketing structure. 2) as mentioned by other posters in other threads rangers fans were in home areas. home fans cannot buy seats for the home end if theyve already been sold to rangers fans 3) theres not a lot can be done with the weather but like it or not some fans will not go to games particularly in the winter time due to cold temperatures down by the sea. 4) same answer as 2 but i would add that inevitably OF fans will get into the home end but it is up to the stewards and police to remove them as necessary. ( or not at all as some posters are claiming today ) 5) i have never encountered parking problems akin to ours at any other ground i have visited in scotland believe me i do realise we are in the real world, not too much a fan of coffee though. i realise things will never be perfect but there are always ways to improve, when suggestions and/or complaints are made which should lead to improvements but are ignored or not taken then i feel fans have every right to complain or moan
  20. i disagree with the criticism on here for Proctor, other than the lapse in concentration for their goal i though he was very good today, not easy playing against someone like Cousin and i thought he dealt with him reasonably well. i do however agree with the point about him needing to beef up a bit. i also disagree with the continual questions raised over Niculaes performances, i certainly think he lasted the game today without any problem but would say that he could have benefitted more from having a striker up front with him to help press the front line, i certainly have no questions over his commitment, teamwork or ability. for me Blackie was MOM followed by Munro
  21. i disagree with that statement, i believe there are enough ICT fans to fill the seats but too many fans are put off for one of the following reasons: 1) ticket prices are too high (extortionate IMO) 2) fans are unwilling to sit next to or share stands with oppposition fans (as is the case when the old firm are up) 3) the somewhat arctic conditions that the fans are often subjected to 4) little confidence in the stewarding to deal with away fans in the home end 5) problems regarding parking at the ground which could be described as shambolic at times i always feel that clubs who are able to muster large travelling supports for away cup games (as we have in recent years) should do their upmost to entice all of these fans to games on a regular basis. whether it be through subsidised ticket prices or some other scheme to attract fans. We need to make the whole match day experience more appealing rather than giving fans excuses not to turn up.
