  1. no, its in the 'In Brief' section of the paper on the third page. Very small article I agree that it sounds a great idea though
  2. as if things werent bad enough for the French ..... 1-0 down to South Africa and down to 10 men after 25 mins
  3. Narrow win for the portuguese today 7 going on 17 by the sounds of it!
  4. didnt see this posted anywhere is so here is the link to the article on the official site.
  5. The European team we are set to play has been announced as Royal Antwerp from Belgium The report in the courier (no link avalibale yet) also says that the trip to blackpool is in doubt as only we could only guarantee the fleetwood fixture and were struggling to find another team to play
  6. The inverness courier is reporting today that Esson has agreed a deal in principle The only mention of Tokely is that Butcher is very optimistic that Tokely wil sign
  7. I echo the kind words said previously. A truly tragic accident. It is an amazing achievement to get to the top of Everest and takes an incredibly strong person both mentally and physically to make it to the top. Having read the report from the team i dont think any criticism can be aimed in their direction as it is evident they did everything they could to get Peter down. They spent over 12 hours in the death zone which shows how determined they were and in doing so even risked their own lives in the rescue attempt. Given that Peter chose to show his loyalty to ICT by wearing our colours while reaching Everest then i think it fitting that the club did something in recognition of his achievement. I hope there is some sort of recognition made by the club My thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends R.I.P
  8. Ouch! i didnt realise they were conference!!
  9. linky
  10. 'Jimmy says bye to the Killie pie'??
  11. There was a typo, we are actually sending our Under 9's to face Strathspey. ha ha ha
  12. completely agree, goalkeepers seem to get injured less so sitting on the bencg for game after game must be very tedious. it was a pretty serious injury he had wasnt it?
  13. Glad to see another former player going into management Hope he does well at Arbroath
  14. From the SPL Rules and Regulations: :( I read the words but they do not compute exactly the same as me. i read it about 6 times and still couldnt make head nor tail out of it!
  15. From the SPL Rules and Regulations: :(
  16. ha ha, they must have seen his potential too :(
  17. Personally im not one for wearing football tops a lot, i wear them for playing indoor fives and out in the garden etc however i havent had a Caley Thistle top in a few years. Partly to do with the fact the last home strip was ok-ish and partly because of the issues raised by Harry Chibber. I would be a lot more inclined to buy a home top if it was a) available when i get my season ticket and b ) made by a brand that inspired me
  18. full story here Personally i'd be delighted to see Esson sign a new contract but if he doesnt i think Tuffey would make a good replacement. We still need a number 2 as well!
  19. getting my games mixed up like RossP by the looks of it anyways, it was still a great performance whatever game it was
  20. I completely agree. He was outstanding that game and what makes it more remarkable was that he had come in from the cold having seen very little first team action at all. I still think mcBain offers a lot to the team, it may not be that he starts every game but it is essential that we have players available that can come in and do a good job on short notice. McBain fits that bill prefectly. Glad to see him extend his contract
  21. is that old skool astroturf or the modern fieldturf? the latter is approved by FIFA and UEFA competitions
  22. plenty of other stadiums seem to manage with more than one team playing on it. I agree three is a bit much but two could work. Why no for an all weather pitch? seems like a great idea to have. All weather pitches are fine for the SFL (as far as i remember) and lower leagues, so no reason why they couldnt be used for Clach and Inverness city if needed. I like the idea of a community stadium. Brings the city together and as mentioned provides a focal point for football in the city.
  23. im pretty sure this year there is an interest charge on spreading payments. there is no requirement for a deposit however great pricing structure otherwise though
  24. Favourite: Caley Thistle Champions ooohh wooo oohh wooo ooooh wooo ooohh Caley Thistle Champions ooohh wooo oohh wooo ooooh wooo ooohh Cringeworthy: Caley - Clap clap clap or Give me a C, Give me and A.......and so on
