  1. In all seriousness Wilson should be pen taker if he's on the pitch. If he's not then Niculae or Black to take them. I think Niculae was unfortunate to miss against hibs, i think now he has gained confidence and that goal scoring touch then he is the logical choice. A penalty for Niculae away from home may well be the break he needs to carry on his goal scoring run away from TCS.
  2. i believe the first yellow was for dissent after their 3rd goal and the second yellow for squaring up to morais who was also booked for the second time and subsequently sent off.
  3. F F S !!! :008:
  4. Did you bother to read the other threads before posting this ? If you did you might have found out that the rumoured name in the frame is Dean Shiels the same dene shiels thats just scored against us? :007:
  5. i agree, think we are missing a link up player between midfield and our strikers in todays team
  6. he,ll leave by wed, for ?65k,very annoying since we dont need to sell hi,he wants to leave tough,he should of thought of that b4 he sgiend for us,who have we targetted to bring in to replace him/no-one i bet :008: :018: if he is adamant he want to leave then fair enough but as he is tied to a contract he has little sway in the final transfer. it should be on the clubs terms if he is sold but i think it would be a disgrace if he left for ?65k. Out of that ?65k i bet county have a sell on clause too! so we wouldnt get the total fee. Reading another article today about when Robson left us, he left for ?50k and could well seal a transfer of ?1m plus during this transfer window, why should this club get pennies when others can recoup much heftier fees. :008: hopefully we have a sell on clause for Robson!!
  7. fair enough, didnt think of that
  8. not in the team today, looks rather ominous, i sincerely hope that this is not a sign of the end of Rankins ICT career. If it is i would be extremely annoyed if we did not make a healthy profit from his transfer
  9. yup i agree with the above. would be extremely dissapointed of Rankin definately does leave, could never fathom why he was out of the team for so long and i think dropping him earlier on in the season will come back to haunt us. if he does leave i would hope and expect to receive at the very least ?100k, he cost us ?65k and we have developed him from a good first division player to a valuable SPL player so anything less than ?100k would be a disgrace. What irks me is, we should not be selling our best players to our rivals! If St Midden do get him for about ?65k i think it would be an absolute bargain and they'll will be rubbing their hands with glee, if our club does sell one of our most valuable assets for that amount then i seriously think it leans toward an incredible lack of ambition and financial desperation.
  10. Isn't going to happen. That area of the Longman isn't allocated for supermarket in the City Plan; there isn't the infrastructure around the Bught to cope with a stadium suitable for us; and Asda are now concentrating their efforts on acquiring a site across the river from the Bught. the city plan however is not cast in stone and allowances are often made which may deviate slightly from the city plan. True, but there is no overwhelming reason why this, quite considerable, change should be made. I'd be opposed to building a stadium in the Bught. It is a irreplaceable green space that brings benefits to Invernessians of all ages. Planting a ground into the middle of it would ruin this. Thankfully, it was a non-starter in 1995 and is a non-starter now. fair enough, i take your point. when it comes down to it our club is growing and will (hopefully) eventually either outgrow its current home or become overly constrained by limitations on development at TCS therefore sites like the bught will always come in for consideration. when i said i agreed with the bught as a potential location i should of specified that i think the canal pitches would be an ideal location for future development whether that is classed as the bught i'm not sure. i believe that a community focused stadium like what aberdeen are currently proposing where many amenities are provided would be a huge asset to the city. i concur

  12. looks like the fee was agreed (rumoured to be ?8 million) but Hutton turned it down. SPL vs Premiership..... hmmmm... :024:
  13. no need to worry, you didnt miss much
  14. agree with that, didnt think either were especially great
  15. :crazy07: :cheesy01:
  16. Rankin scores it, get in!!! :crazy07:
  17. seen the replay on setanta and for me its definately a penalty, the pundits seemed pretty sure it was a foul too, marius outpaced steven 'the snail' pressley and pressely clearly obstructed him.

sums it up perfectly, i really hope he retains his place upon his return from suspension, tokely now has a big job proving he is 1st choice
  21. saw the save he made near the end on setanta, truly amazing save, well done on a top drawer performance :clapping03:

cant say i agree with that, by no means do i think marius has played his best yet but i think his passing, hold up play and shooting was brilliant today. good point CaleyD, on the evidence of todays performance i think wyness and tokely will struggle to get into the team
  23. ratings are spot on hislopsoffsideagain :clapping03:
  24. spot on, i would add to that the performance of Proctor who i thought was excellent, looked calm and composed, was accurate in the pass and made countless importnat interceptions/headers in defence.
