  1. LINK to courier story which also mentions Dougies injury
  2. an article in todays courier mentions Dougies injury: the courier website hasnt been updated yet so no link
  3. How? What doesnt he have to be captain composure for one, secondly a tendency to rack up bookings which is not really a good example for a captain to set.
  4. Not necissarily i think if they get a goal or 2 at parkhead without reply and then go and play the way they did against moscow they are in with a hell of a shout. Should be a cracking tie though against arsenal?? i cant see it personally
  5. in the current financial climate where all revenue streams should be utilised it is sad news that the shop and ticket office is being closed, the hard work of the staff and its associated revenue will be missed.
  6. If Esson is still carrying an injury (the reason he was on bench last week) then there's every chance we'll have Allison in goal. is there a thrid choice at the club? or would Esson be listed as a sub even though he is injured (ive seen this happen before with clubs where an injured player is listed amongst subs)
  7. I watched him at the Forres game, played on the left first half and the right in the second so he was on my side the whole 90 mins, watching him he didnt seem to have much in the way of a right foot.... first and last touch always on the left foot... Keep an eye on it IHE you'll see it yourself, his goal at forres was taken down the right side but he had to turn it and bring it in on his left to shoot. he is very left footed but can still play on either wing, just like Imrie
  8. The Daily Express is reporting that a bid of around ?40k was lodged and was rejected, quite rightly IMO. I think Dougie is a very important player in the team and will have a huge part to play for us this season, he should only leave if a large offer comes in. He is still under contract and we do not need to sell him so why should we!
  9. Quite agree there. Too many people sit on the sidelines criticising the efforts of others but do little themselves. Human nature I suppose and it's something we Scots are particularly good at. i completely agree, i wonder if any of the posters criticising the announcer would like to try it themselves to see if they are any better, i think not!
  10. spot on!! also never been a fan of catherine tate, 'bovvered'?
  11. i reckon it'll be pretty close to that
  12. Full story here
  13. i see christian vieri is without a club :023:
  14. good work lads :(
  15. Brewster certainly had a habit of discarding trialists when he was here
  16. The official ICT site however says that Hayes is only on trial and hasnt mentioned whether Eagle has signed yet
  17. Sean Evans is currently playing for Ludlow Town in the West Midlands Regional League 2 (The equivalent of the tenth teir of league football in England) and Michael Barnes is with non-league english side FC Halifax town (The equivalent of the eight teir of league football in England) Edited to add the league info
  18. According to the Daily Record he has landed, story here also they have the impression that Hayes has signed too.
  19. another trialist checks in......... story here
  20. Absolutely, i think we still lack creativity in the centre of the park. Another GK would be handy too
  21. Libero, I dont see in any of caleyrules posts where he has said that the courier and MFR are right or wrong. All he has done is bring to our attention a story from MFR Alex, i was referring to earlier on in this thread when information i posted on here regarding trialists taken from various newspapers including the courier were shot down as being rubbish by caleyrule, i was merely asking if they had got it wrong again
  22. i think it'll be Hamilton but hope its St Midden
  23. :( The Inverness Courier today is reportng that two slovakian trialists are coming this week and may feature in the Forres game. The article also reports that Kelly and Reidford have left following trial periods. Regarding Sanchez it says that he has returned to his homeland although Caley thistle may offer him something more permanent. Regarding Eagles it says that Butcher has held talks but nothing has been done yet. are MFR and the courier wrong again caleyrule?
  24. The Inverness Courier is reporting that we currently have 3 trialists at the club; Greg Kelly, Chris de Vagt and ex-norwich player Robert Eagle who is a left sided midfielder. Looks like all 3 could feature in tomorrows friendly. cue ridicule from caleyrule B)
  25. Ricky Shakes did not play tonight nor was he on the bench and Greg Kelly played the entire second half of the friendly tonight as a trialist, see here for the official club report
