  1. I can vouch for that. We used a cage for our boxer till he was too big for it. Kept it under the kitchen table and was really his bed as much as anything. It only seems cruel to us but to the dog it's a den, like Alex says. The only thing we made sure of was not to put the dog in the cage as a punishment. Had no ill effect on our dog.
  2. Being an ICT season ticket holder right now is pure torture !! We're subjected to the same crap every home game. The small crowd was mentioned previously, well you can be sure that attendences are going to plummet if this is what's going to be on display at home. If it wasn't for the fact that I've paid for a season ticket then I'd have to think long and hard about forking out cash for that excuse for entertainment. :thumb04:
  3. Have you tried the spray? I don't know how successful it is but you're supposed to spray it on anything that the dug's likely to chew and the spray makes it taste so bad that the dog stops chewing! Either that or try an indoor pen to keep the dog in when you're out the house. As I say, I don't know how successful thses things are. Our dog never chewed the furniture etc but made up for it by chewing every toy he's ever been given to destruction within a matter of seconds !!!
  4. Ah that's him, Colin S. Was in same year at school. Didn't know him that well and haven't seen him since school days !
  5. ...and, with Clach's recent results, they'll probably both be in the squad for Saturday !
  6. BBC version
  7. Beer at the games too !!! :o :o :o :o :o :o I'm emigrating !! :thumb04:
  8. Could the reason for the lack of investment in the stadium be that the club has plans to re-locate?
  9. You're all standing up.......and there's no a steward in sight !!! :o
  10. The way I saw it he was forced out of ICT and had his situation been handled better I think he may well still be an ICT player today! Also just for his winner against rangers he'll always be an ICT favourite of mine!
  11. You're welcome.
  12. Is this the artwork you're referring to CaleyD ?
  13. I was encouraged by our first half display.....although Hibs missed a couple o sitters and really should have been 2-1 up at half time! Second half however was an even worse display than last week !! Long hoofed balls up the park more in panic than hope, unable to make 10 yard passes, and if hibs strikers hadn't been having a bad day at the office we could've lost 6-1! Couldn't understand why Rankin was being booed, although it was coming from just one section of the home support. Can't understand why Tokely is being singled out in some of the above posts? However, there are a few players who, after their performances in last 2 home fixtures, need a Serious question: Is Barrowman carrying an injury ?.............he seems unable to run at any pace whatsoever?
  14. I remember quite a bit of hype about AGS in 1990............ Will anyone admit to being in this pic? (taken from the Jags fanzine at the time) I think I might have been in school with the guy 3rd from the left. His name's not shown though and I can't remember it!
  15. Great Goal !!! :D :thumb04: :018: ;) :015:
  16. Save yer money and park somewhere else. If everyone did this the club would be losing income from the parking and I'm sure something would then be done about it? I've never used the carpark for exactly the reasons you've described.
  17. An enjoyable evening, tainted only by the miserable weather.....oh and the bird from mfr constantly referring to ICT as 'caley' !!! :D :D :D :D :D (Thought they were from mfr sports dept, surely they know the history of the club?? ) Anyway, thought Mann was different class ! McAllister showed us what he can do ! Duff was solid, Vigurs has ability, both our keepers were outstanding (and so was liverpool's...for the wrong reasons :D ), ..........in fact nothing negative could be said about anything ICT did on the park tonight ! :D Certainly a fitting tribute to Barry Wilson. The match program was nicely put together too....some nice comments from players past and present. :thumb04: :018: ;) :015: :D :P :021: :D :D :D But that english premiership......it's a bit overrated no? :D
  18. Was Duncan injured and that's why he was replaced? I wonder would we have changed to a 4-4-2 if Duncan wasn't injured? Bit worrying if we're going to be playing 4-5-1 every home game!! Imrie was ineffective first half never once got past his man,... but he was played on the right wing! Was more effective second half when he reverted back to his natural left wing position. Agree that Rooney looks to have potential. Barrowman on the other hand was disappointing for me, I thought his first touch on occasion was woeful. Felt sorry for Duff, could see he was gutted for his mistake at the goal. That apart he did make a fantastic last ditch tackle in the first half that got applause from the whole home support. We really lacked creativity today and worryingly there wasn't much options on the bench to try and change things ! Wilson, when he came on, looked sharper and hungrier than anyone else on the park.
  19. MINCE ! Their keeper didn't have a save to make whole game! We started 4-5-1 and changed to 4-4-2 second half. Accies bossed the game and really it was a much more comfortable win for them than the score suggests. Accies could pass the ball and keep posession.....we couldn't ! New season, new players,.......same old story !
  20. Nice return to tradition with the red socks, must be near 20 years since the scotland strip had red socks? Interestingly it seems that the reason for Scotlands colours is due to Queens Park ! ** link **
  21. He's a big target man and the temptation would be to lump high balls up the park to him!! Not nice to watch and I think we're at our worst when we play the long ball game!
  22. I always found it difficult to understand why caley fans chose not to follow ICT. The merged team played at Telford St, in what was basically a caley strip, the team was full of former caley players and most of the media and fans even referred to the merged team as 'caley' ! Jags fans found it much more difficult to adopt the new team for exactly the aforementioned reasons! Indeed it took me 6 years before I was to attend an ICT match ....and even then I was coerced into it!!! However, 14 years after the merger and here I am an ICT fan. I wouldn't say that there is a rivalry amongst former jaggies and caley fans in the ICT support, but it does disappoint me that the club does still adhere to 'the predominantly blue' agreement from the merger, when the hardcore of caley rebels that it was designed to appease are not now ICT fans!!! As it also irks me when I hear media and pundits refer to ICT as 'caley' !! Personally I do know Jags fans, and some caley fans, that refuse to acknowledge ICT but they number only a couple of dozen !
