Rod Clyne's book mentions George Herd playing for Jags in 1955/6. A PT instructor from Cameron Barracks who hadn't played competitive football previously ! Went on to play for Queens Park, Clyde, Sunderland and Scotland. Recalls beating Elgin 8-1 at Kingsmills and the team that day was: Murd Urquhart, Gordon Inkster, Fed Nimmo, Dave Christie, Willie Roy, Rod Clyne, George Herd, Babsy Grant, Juppy Mitchell, Willie Jamieson and Dils Hendry. Your right, it's no longer allowed to climb to the top of the pyramid in Chichen Itza. Apparently due to either protecting the ruins or, more likely, the death of a tourist who slipped and fell on her way down! I was there several years ago and fortunately it was still possible to climb to the top then.

I sometimes get a glitch in my PS3 where there are no fans shown in the stadiums...... So yes I suppose the ICT home ground is a lot like Telford Street !!! :rotflmao:

WOW !!!!.....Brilliant gig !! Scotland's finest !! I got speaking to a couple of guys, in proc specs and t-shirts proclaiming that they'd travelled 500 miles to see the twins, after the gig. We were consoling each other how we didn't get to hear 'Jean'. Anyway turns out these guys had travelled up from Somerset to see Craig & Charlie !! Top banter !!

Disappointed to see him go. :cry07: An ICT unsung hero IMO. :notworthy02: I wish ya well Graham. :clapping03: (I remember a couple of years ago went on a stag nite to Newcastle and shared a train carriage from Edinburgh with a hen party. Met the hens again at night in Buffalo Joes, got speaking and it turned out the bride-to-be was Graham Bayne's future Mrs !! Nice lassies they were too !!........ although I'm not sure they believed we were ICT fans !! )

I've been down that road before. About 3 years ago I needed the dish moved cos of a tree blocking the signal. Sky said they'd have to charge me a call out fee so I said forget it I'll cancel my subscription......Hey presto, 5 mins later a supervisor phoned me offering to fix everything for free !!! :029: With this and the recent price hikes I just think sky are taking the **** a bit !! They could do with some serious competition from somewhere!

Cheers for that Heilandee. Pretty much confirms my fears though.....no real alternative if ya want movies etc! I think i'll maybe ditch the skysports (that'll reduce the price a wee bit and can be my personal protest to sky). Sky don't show scottish football and english football is overrated anyways so I'll not miss it!! :003:

I wouldn't say a takeovers happened but I would say that a Caley bias still exists. ..and the predominantly blue design and removal of the stripes from the new shirt does little to dispel the bias !!! :008: -
