My view is thus.............along with Barry Wilson...Ritchie has played his part for ICT and its now time to move on. I dont believe he has the ability to be consistant at this level, so quite happy for him to move on and free up a wage.

I actually meant since we have been in the SPL but never made that clear in my original post. Am not against taking educated punts on lower league players at all....but would like to see established, experienced players come here too now and then. Am not complaining, just trying to gauge whether i am alone in my thoughts

I agree yngwie. Think the cold light of day has dawned on Gretna that their bubble has burst and the dream is over. Why go to all the bother and expense of getting to SPL in the first place though????????? Makes no sense to me. Anyone know if Raydale is still able to host football or did they make a start on the work and think sod it?

Apprently a decision has been made to kick Gretna out of the SPL regardless whether or not they avoid being relegated. It is apparently because they have made no effort to start work on their stadium. Can see them having one mighty fall from grace! Discuss

Brewster played for us coz he was the manager....he didnt sign exclusivly as a player and we hardly got much use from him! So that leaves Mcguire and Wilson in what....4-5 seasons in SPL. Can hardly class Wyness and Proctor as experienced SPL players at the time we signed them. Proctor had played a handfull of times for Utd before going on loan to Airdre

Seems to me that if we aint doing our annual robbing County of their players...we are sourcing all our players from the the lower leagues. Thats fine on occasion....but do we have to do it on the cheap all the time? We need experience too!

Barry has been a good servant and has more than played his part in ICTs rise through the leagues. But his best is behind him.....so failing being offered a coaching role or similar, i think its time for him to leave. Patti..... I dont believe has the stuff to be a first team regular at this level, so wouldnt be sad to see him leave.
