Used to get delish bridies back in the lower league days at TCS, but was different caterers back then. Its amazing how many times the catering issue comes up, so its obviously a bug bear. Be nice of the club took note of the wishes of its customer base.

To be honest.....these footballers are in for a big shock in a few years when their career has ended and they have to make their way in the REAL world. They lead a charmed life whilst in football and are somewhat disconnected from reality.

Cousin has not been allowed to transfer to Fulham due to the playing for more than 2 clubs in one season rule. Transpires he played 20 mins of a game for Lens as a substitute before moving to Rangers. Bit ****** but hey.....lifes a *****

Duncan leaves the flair play to other more gifted footballers in the team. He knows his limitations and sticks to his task. I can stomach Rankin going, I could handle Rosscoe moving on to pastures new, I think Russel Duncan would be rather more difficult to replace.

Gotta feel a bit sorry for Hutton here. It seems as though Rangers are desperate to cash in with little regard for Huttons wishes about staying

I get the feeling you are a bit of a sentimentalist CaleyD. Am off the opinion, should ANYTHING go down the pan, beit a footabll team, a building whatever, draw a line under it and move on! I think the bottom line is there is simply not the level of intrest in Clach thats needed to keep them alive.

Meadowbank ceased to be a team.... thats my point! Am sure those that were Meadowbank fans felt aggrieved by the change.

Thats good then L_G. Barry deserves this IMHO. He has been one of the key players in our short history.

I actually thought that the online shop was ALL the ICT merchandise that was available (and i thought it was a p1ss poor range). If that is not the case, then there are only two excuses for this....sloppy management and laziness!

Calum........sentiment counts for very little these days. Clach (like everyone else) has to be able to susutain itself or it will go down the pan. It has Happened in the not so distant past to Meadowbank Thistle, Airdre and Clydebank and am sure they were equally "part of the community".......so it can happen to clach too.

Last year, I did some volunteer work for a charity based in Inverness which went round doing jobs around the house for those unfortunate enuff to be unable to do it for themselves. This same charity looks like it is going to fold as nobody will fund it any longer. To me.....that is a far bigger travesty than a sports team that is struggling. I know which one I would bail out first! Point being, there are far more deserving causes within Sneck that deserve a rescue package before Clach

Thing is tho CaleyD......how long before they get into the same mess again? There is no incentive to run the club correctly if they know they will continually get bailed out by the good will of the powers that be. How many times does this scenario have to occur before its decided enuff is enuff?

Actually, I am VERY aware of that ?900k. I actually thought there was some other sum of money I had maybe missed to which you reffered. That ?900k was a loan was it not? And on top of that....ICT opened up that whole peice of land for the council to reap the benefits so it was genuinely in the Councils intrest to invest that sum of money. It would seem Clach have been taking the p1ss a bit thinking they could get away with it by assuming the CGF were a softer touch than the council would be over non payment of rent!
