10 Team SPL - Confirmed...
I was under the impression St. Mirren were in favour of a 10 team league from the off . Apparently they wanted a 14 team SPL. For them to vote for a 10 Team SPL would be like Turkeys voting for Xmas!

10 Team SPL - Confirmed...
Why was there such a dramatic u-turn from ICT, Hearts, Duundee Utd, Killie and St Mirren? This vote needed 11/12 to vote in favour of it. I have to say...I was quite pleased, as i thougght this LUDICROUS idea was dead in the water two weeks ago!

10 Team SPL - Confirmed...
Only Scottish Football could go back to a system that has failed in the past. I hope it all blows up their faces!

Who Is More Important to ICT?
Wow....this is turning into a whitewash. I never expected this to be so one sided. I wonder how much of this is due to Adams almost certain iminent departure...so many peeps are hacked off OR....based on footballing alone?

Who Is More Important to ICT?
I voted Hayes.....coz i think the chances he creates would be scored by most half decent player,

Dennis Wyness signs for Elgin City
How time flies. I think some peeps on here are forgetting that Denzil is going on 34....so its not really suprising hes ended up at Elgin. Am sure he will still do a job for them

Did I miss something?
Dundee LOST their appeal today, and now sit bottom of the 1st Div, by 5 pts....with NO further avenues open to them

New faces in January...
To some extent i agree with you SMEE but i think from what we have he is defnitely a better player than Odhiambo and has probably been due alot more game time than he has been given. Odhiambo has under performed for too long and should have been dropped ages ago. Well....i tend to agree with you on that matter. Fair enuff...i havent seen a lot of Odihambo, but on the occasions i have seen him, he has been by far the weakest link. And there seems to be a growing amount of user on this forum who would agree. So...based on that...i would rather see Dani get a start

New faces in January...
I dont believe Sanchez is the answer. He has had long enuff here to prove himself as a contender. i believe, at best, he is a bit part player. I would love to be wrong, but i think the answer to our problems lye elsewhere

MERGED: Rooney Transfer ???
Its all psychology. you can be garenteed tht IF this club offers ?100k, they will value him at a fair bit more than that and will be deliberatley coming in with a cheekily low first offer.

Our worst ever players in the SPL?
for the record....Golly was IMMENSE in the first season in SPL. That much i DO remember. Hardly worthy of a mention of our worst player in the SPL.

Scottish Cup 5th round
I wonder if Ibronx will be 2/3rds empty for this one....just as it was last night. Methinks not tho!
-
Highland Derby
As i understand it Elginfan is correct, Bounday wise it doesnt fall under the Highlands, but Geographically speaking, Elgin and even Aberdeen are in the "Scottish Highlands"......or something along that lines

Man U vs Liverpool
Im watching it. Liverpool are more up for this than i have seen from them for a long time. Quite a good game really!

Scottish Cup 5th round
The "easiest" team possible

Highland Derby
Dont forget, this was elgins big day out, so they turned up in numbers. go to one of their home games, they have about 1/3 of the support they had yesterday, and by all accounts....its a pretty drab atmosphere.

Highland Derby
Thing is tho Don....had my circumstances been different....i WOULD have been there yesterday, along with every other home game....as used to be the case.I didnt pick and choose my games, i went regardless of who we were playing, which, is the case to this day, when circumstances allow. I just cant get my head round the fact tht half the usual home support was posted as missing yesterday Im sure it was the case that many simply couldnt be bothered coz it wasnt a glamorous game. That goes against my understanding of what it means to be a fan. And for the record...I am hesitant to call myself a fan these days, based on the limited number of games i actually make. I am sometimes dubious whether i should be having my say on all things ICT considering i dont make many games these days. Then again, I have the teams best intrest at heart, and had activley supported football in Inverness since 1976 till about 2004.

Highland Derby
Various reasons Don. The main two being my youngest has NO interest at all in going to a game, so I cant exactly go off and leave him on his own.....especially when he is supposed to be spending time with me. When i asked my other son yesterday why he wanted to come to a game with me, he didnt know, i think he just wants to spend time with me. He doesnt even understand the rules of the game! Second Reason....not that its anyones business, I dont work coz of health reasons....so money is tight....especially from OCT - March every year.
