Suprised that he has come back onshore as I heard he was enjoying the offshore lifestyle as well. I think he was earning more money working offshore, and got to spend more time with his family as well. Has he jacked in the offshore work, or is he working this around his shift pattern?
  8. What exactly did Hearts say?

The largest density of Gaelic speakers is actually in Glasgow, hence why the situated the first Gaelic School there.
  10. How would you know if I am at home or away matches? Do you personally greet every single member of the crowd? We are not all blessed with lots of money, the time or the means to get to football matches sonny boy. If I could I would be at every single ICT match, however the particulars of my life means that I can't. What you have done is commendable, however going to away matches isn't giving money to ICT, still does not make you in the right about what you did. Notice I didn't call into question your 'commitment' to the club. No second chances, no excuses, no apologies. Everyone knows these songs are wrong
  11. Apologies are worthless. I have grown up - that's why you dont find me singing these songs. Though I have no idea where you would get the notion that I am a Celtic fan. This isn't actually the first time "section G" has been singing offensive songs. I seem to remember a trip to Love Street where a group of young lads started singing; "Who's that lieing at Love Street" etc.... Filth, every single uttered syllable of it. And there is no place for it at any ICT match whether sung in jest or not. This is how it all starts.
  12. You are a cretin, you should be banned from the TCS as well. And no, we shall not "stop getting wound up" by all of this. What you guys did was wrong.
  13. You don't understand the whole point of supporting a team do you? It's not about getting it up the other set of fans, its about driving your team forward by supporting them. We have songs that are about ICT for a reason.
  14. If you were singing these songs then you should be visiting Ibrox every second weekend, not TCS. **** off basically.
  15. Collision with McGeady. Suspected broken ankle, and was taken to hospital. However, club doctor isn't sure it is a broken ankle.
  16. MacGuire has been taken to hospital
  17. I think it would be very good, especially for macthdays.
  18. no, no chatroom at the moment. we may add one in the future (if a decent one becomes available for this software) but its not a huge priority There's no E in Black ---- Tell your friend that the ICT pitch has the same dimensions as the old Wembley (ie. maximum allowable size). Ever thought of having some sort of Shoutbox on the page? Oh, BBC seems to think it is a broken ankle.
  19. Bit annoyed, they dont have it on the rigs TV, and I cant get a decent enough connection or find a decent place to watch the match online. Plus, dont think they would be happy me stealing all the bandwidth. Also, its a Dutch connection so cant get the feed!
  20. In essence yes.
  21. Your posting is either 1) a contradiction thus making no sense or 2) you know the reason why he is not being played but you know that this reason to be false and malicious. If that is correct then what you are saying is that he is being unfairly treated by both his Employers and Scotland. If you change the phrase " I do know the reason" to " I have heard a reason as to" then in my opinion your posting would make sense. My post makes perfect sense. It is one of the worst kept secrets in Scottish football, but because it cannot be proven, it is considered a rumour. There are some things that you hear that are false, and some that I know to be true. A few recent events in Glasgow involving footballers haven't exactly had the real truth revealed in the papers. I think you should look up the meaning of slanderous. You aren't quite getting this are you? I'll try once more. Tim liked having sex with small boys. Bob knew that Tim liked having sex with small boys but couldn't prove it. Regardless, Bob told the newspaper that Tim liked having sex with small boys. Tim denied it and sued the paper for slander against his character. Because neither Bob, nor the paper could prove that Tim liked having sex with small boys, Tim won. Note, the above story is fictional and is nothing to do with Boyd at all. Understand yet?

  23. Being a patron of Glasgow and having worked and known most of the security in the Glasgow clubs, I do know the reason why Boyd isn't played. However, I cannot reveal it on here due to it being a "rumour" and most definelty being slanderous.
  24. Just read this on another forum and provides for some interesting reading. It describes a problem that a Falkirk fan had on a visit to Parkhead in the away support. He took the initiative and wrote to the club, as well as some others, describing the situation, also details the response. What I think we should all take from this, is that if we ever have a problem at Parkhead (or any other club for that matter) we should all write to the respective clubs, as well as the footballing authority, and hopefully this will kick start something. "A disgrace. I paid ?25 for an unrestricted viuew, and was told to "sit anywhere you like"" when I got in. No unrestrcited view seats left, and the steward would as well ha ve been an extra frpom the laurel and hardy show. Eventually they opened another bit uip, and let us in there, but I paid for a seat I didn't get and will be claimning my money back through the sale of goods act. Imagine at a state of the arrt stadium there even being restricted view, let alone hte eekits not even being able to organise where you're sitting! wallopers." " A wee update. On Tuesday I wrote to Peter Lawwell about this situation. I also sent a copy of the letter to George Craig, MD at Falkirk and Iain Blair, Ops Director at the SPL. I heard back from George Craig immediately. Today I've also had a letter back from Iain Blair, telling me to ensure any future correspondence on the matter is sent for his personal attention. He also copied Lawwell and Lex Gold in on the letter. Progress to follow." "Finally received a reply from Celtic, after having to write again dry.gif Usual pish, really sorry, steward identified, counselled and reprimanded, look to improve standards, screen was broken not switched off, blah blah blah. Offered a free ticket to the next Falkirk game at Parkhead though, which is at least something."
  25. During my student days, living in Glasgow I had to pick and choose my games carefully as money wasn't really that free, infact I did manage to attend a fair few of away matches which certainly hurt the food budge for that week at least. When I decide to go to a match, I try to mix value for money with entertainment, and Rangers and Celtic matches (especially at home) are some of the more desirable games to go to. Now that I work in the offshore industry, I can't attend as many games as I like to and in the current climate money again becomes a problem. As for your question. These extra fans are either rangers or celtic fans, or people who want to see Rangers or Celtic play as they are meant to have the best players. They aren't 'part-time' fans at alll.
