  1. How do you join the Supporters Trust?
  2. EWS replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Neither for me; I'm going to Queens Park vs East Fife. £2 entry.
  3. Did Charlie not say that he was wanting to get a striker in as cover by the end of the window? Plus, with Jono Smith gone to Clach, does that mean that Ridgers is staying? There was nothing about a loan deal.
  4. I heard that even if he had been named in the squad he would have had to have pulled out due to a nasty case of piles.
  5. EWS replied to L_G's topic in Caley Thistle
Surely if he was really that good though he would have been picked up by at least a 3rd division club? And regardless of how good he may appear in the Highland League, going from HL to SPL is a massive step, and I don't think he can do it.

Am I the only one who sees this as a bad idea? We are an SPL side, and we pick up a goalkeeper who couldn't do it for us, and was playing for Clach, a Highland League side. If MF got injured between now and Sunday, or even got injured in the game on Sunday, we would be going 4 or 5 down with Ridgers in goal. It is quite frankly a joke.
  7. That, is quite possibly the most fantastic chant ever.
  8. Golly to Peterhead has definatly fallen through. Didn't know about him to Livi though.

Did it not take out all of one team?
  10. A win is still a win. Remember how many games we had to play over the Christmas period and how we came out of that very well.
  11. I could lecture for hours on what words literal definition are, but they have a different meaning when used in different settings. Words such as ******* and ***** spring to mind. The term Loyal though has been connected with Rangers fans, and with Northern Ireland for a long time. The chant, Loyal Army, was used by Unionists and Loyalists in Northern Ireland, and that is when Rangers fans picked up on it. The chant Caley Army has been used before, and should be used in the future. All though it may mean something different when the chant 'Loyal Army' is used, other people will not take it that way. As Harry says, all it needs is a group of people to pick up on this, and we are up the keichter. As for your other point, people on here are not moaning that noise was made, I would have been joining in with most of the chants at the Stirling game had I been in better health, and I have joined in in the past, and will in the future. Two of my greatest memories are at the Ayr cup match doing the Conga, and at the Partick replay where we never stopped singing for 120 minutes. During that time, we did not sing the 'Loyal Army' or 'One Man Went To Beat The **** Out Of Some Folk From Dingwall' songs. Noise is something that we should encourage, and listening on the radio today, I remarked that it was good to actually hear some noise from the home crowd, I just think that there are some songs that should not be sung, and we should move away from. As someone said, and it was probably Harry, we have a group of fans like to call themselves the Caley Casuals. No matter what their intentions are, when one hears the term Caley Casual, they get the wrong impression.
  12. Seems that Hibs have made 3 changes at half time.
  13. Hold on, I have just got something that says that they can't bring me the coverage anymore.
  14. 2-0 McBain. Only his second ever goal
  15. Seems like we are on top, also good to hear some noise in the back ground.
  16. Hibs defensive error, 1-0 Dargo.
  17. Hibs keeper fumbles twice, nearly results in a goal twice. That seems to be the direction we should be heading, shooting.
  18. Don't we just wish Mr. Namesake eh? A thousand hibs fans, that's fairly good to take up on a Sunday from Edinburgh. Hopefully, we can turn these guys over, would like to see Markus come on and run at the Hibs team, I am actually suprised that he isn't starting. I am a bit nervous with Fraser in goals though, wasn't convinced when I saw him against Celtic.
  19. EWS replied to Dmacca's topic in Caley Thistle
I know how to get there via train if that is any help?
  20. Would not suprise me if we go over the bridge again..... :020:
  21. Do you think every member of the SC will order a ticket for this match though, that's what you have to ask. I would be very suprised if they do.
  22. Internet site down, and I can't even get through on the phone. Just keep getting a busy tone. They need to sort this out really. This happened during the France match as well. And anyway, 23,000 members, getting two tickets each means 46,000 tickets, and how much does Hampden hold? *EDIT* Internet site back up again. Got my tickets, section C4 row M. Hopefully we will get more tickets, or I might have to use my connections in order to get another 2 tickets for my brothers. Can you imagine them limiting tickets for a Georgia match? Scandalous. I hope I am wrong, but I cannot really see this being a sell out.
  23. So, I got my invitation to apply for tickets and only got offered two. For the Georgia match? Will demand still be high for this one?
  24. Sad day for us all, I am quite worried about our season now. Anyway, this line sticks out. "This is the biggest transfer fee this club has ever received and Celtic have conducted their business very properly." Another dig at the way that DU conducted themselves, as he also praised Cowdenbeath over their dealings with us.
