  1. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...irk/6235101.stm Thats what BBC says.
  2. So where is everyone going then?
  3. This is the Hearts situation except the other way around. Le Guen publically said that it was either going to be Barry or him, and in all honesty it should have been Ferguson. No matter what reason they give, no matter if it was mutually agreed, the reason why Le Guen has left Rangers is because of the incident with Barry Ferguson. By allowing Le Guen to go it is making Barry Ferguson bigger then the club, and that is only going to end disastrously. It's a shame that a prmising young manager like Le Guen has basically had his career ruined by a football club without a clue.
  4. Really? I heard it was his brother, Ruaridh Doogie Hamish John MacDonald who we were interested in. Except that he is £4.99 and a promise that he never plays on Sundays.
  5. Any idea if there will be a student discount?
  6. Mike is a sound guy. He was the referee when we drew with Rangers at Ibrox 1-1 with Prunty scoring in the last few minutes. Think it was 2 years ago. He takes no nonsense and I haven't seen many bad decisions from him. When I was going through my referee's training Mike helped me a lot, and he was my linesman when I did a Schools final. Think it is quite a good appointment. Mikes an old fashioned good guy.
  7. Cheers guys, should be at least me and one other going.
  8. I think having the youngsters on the pitch doing some sort of competition for the whole season would be an ace idea. I remember that we used to have the cheerleaders, what happened to them? What about having wee 5-aside compos with supporters, or a hit the bar comp.
  9. Harry, I get an error from Google when I open that. IF thats cool with him, then anychance fo getting directions from the Train Station to there?
  10. Myself and at least one other will be making the short trip from Glasgow.
  11. It was full of Rangers fans. We sit right behind the away dugout, normally the first row is left empty for the away youth team/hangers on. At the Rangers game it was full of "fans", strangely not one of them jumped up when we scored! :008: Agree that most of the main stand is dire, but with the exception of the Rangers game, behind the Away dugout is great fun, quite a few vocal fans. The banter with the away manager is brilliant. PB's certainly sitting there again next season. I guess it depends where you sit and what you do. The atmosphere at the falkirk game was fantastic, but then again the team gave us something to shout about! My only problem with the North Stand is the view isn't as good! I was sitting just to the left of you, at the end of the covered bit second row from the front. My seats were pretty good, though I would like them a bit further back. I am thinking of getting a season ticket for the main stand next year, need to see the price and if I can afford the travel.
  12. Craig Gordon, Barry Ferguson and Russel Anderson??? God knows, probably Buchanan, Cowie and McMenamin or McCulloch.
  13. Seems that we are now hanging on. 80 minutes gone...no substitutions. Scrap that Morgan on for Duncan. Didn't realise Chic Young was there!!
  14. Pah...it's about Ferguson being stripped of the captaincy and looks on his way out. Here was me thinking that it was something better. Anyway, back to more important matters. 2-0 at half time, good good.
  15. Wyness makes it 2. Missed the start of the match on the radio. Looks like Le Guen has quit...breaking news from Ibrox.
  16. I'm guessing Barry is on the right and Rankin on the left? Good to see us one up already. Well done bayne.
  17. As far as I know cup matches as well, but that is just for sendings off. Should be there, need to find if some other guys are coming with me or not.
  18. Lest Aberdeen are being beaten 3-1.
