  2. I think that if we want to show Charlie our support, a song is needed in favour of him
  3. Although I respect this man for coming on and giving us his opinion, I have to disagree with the 5 games. Especially when you see the 5 games that we are playing. 1.Rangers - Team that are battling for 2nd place and have regained their form. 2.Falkirk - One of the best up and coming teams in the SPL. 3.St Mirren - Ok, we should beat these guys 4.Aberdeen - On fantastic form, and going for 2nd place 5.Hibs - Who can argue with the quality they have? So yeah, out of those 5 games I would like to see us get at least 4 points off of that. Win against Mirren, and a draw with either Aberdeen or Falkirk. Anything higher will be a bonus for me. I don't see how sacking CC will do anything to help the team, just a stupid reaction to a slump in form that we are seeing. Under Charlie we have done so much, have been playing some good football occasionally and got some good results (win against Rangers at Ibrox), so I think he should stay. The testing time is the players that we bring in during the transfer window. Lets get a decent winger in, someone who can run at players and are not afraid to skin them, **** even if we have to get a player on loan from a Championship/English Prem team or SPL team, much like what Yogi has done at Falkirk and got Stokes on loan. Bonzo - sometimes I doubt whether you actually mistakenly put an N in your name when you signed up, and I also doubt your allegiance to Caley, possible County fan maybe? But Robbo as our best ever manager? Not in a million years I'm afraid. Steve "Pele" Patterson for me. The team we have now is still largely his, and because of him we went from 3rd division no hopers to 1st division challengers, and I think that if he had stayed with us rather then go to Aberdeen, we would still have been in the SPL. I'm afraid to say that Charlie is the man for us, and a small dip in form should not mean he gets the boot.
  4. A better ginger manager? Gordon Strachan.

    Whinging

Problem is that when people have come on here (myself included) and criticise the team, all we get is the same old rubbish. The last game we won was against Rangers, and even that wasn't a convincing performance against a shoddy Rangers side, yet when I placed my comments down, all I got was people telling me to shut up, and that I hadn't a clue what I was talking about. Seems that recently people have been coming around and taking their heads out the sand. Now, I don't think that CC should go, because he hasn't really made any major mistakes, but there are things that he can improve on.

Ahh, the old "You have never done it, so don't complain" argument. Fine, next time that you criticise a referee, expect to see me with that argument.
  7. How on earth can we go from scoring 3 and playing fantastic, to being involved in a dire 0-0 draw with, by far, the worst team in the league? I'm off to the match on Wednesday, and I can see us actually being embarrased on Setanta by Rangers.

    Wee Red Book

:012: Is there a thread on this **** forum that DOESN'T descend into the same old crap with footballers wife? Gets old rather quickly.
  9. Hey guys, I am looking for a copy of the Wee Red Book that is printed each year. I am willing to pay full price for it if anybody can supply it to me.
  10. Didn't think you graced this forum anymore.
  11. Reminds me of what Peter Loverkrands used to do for Rangers.
  12. My brother (who sits just above the away dugout) told me of a time last season when we beat Hibs 3-0 when they were on a good run. Apparently, Mowbray likes to shout 'Total Football, Total Control' to his players. Well, as the third goal goes in, apparently Mowbray does his old "Right lads, Total Football, Total Control" to which some guy sitting next to my brother shouts "Aye, Total PISH!" Apparently Mowbray turned round and had a wee chuckle and a laugh.
  13. I'm quite interested in going to the dinner, wonder if I can get the funds together.

    Home Games

If we are going for Runrig, why not pick something like Loch Lomond?
  15. I just realised I called you Charlie by accident. I will be at the Rangers match on the 27th, possibly St Mirren on the 1st and definatly Stirling on the 6th(?).
  16. Charlie, this whole bring a friend idea sounds great, but I have been trying for years to get people to come to Caley matches, especially in the central belt where the majority of our away games are. The problems lie mainly in the cost of everything at the moment, the (not so) recent outing that we had to St Mirren (1-1) which is probably a better example then the game at Parkhead. Ticket: £20 (my non-student friend) Programme: £2.50 Train: £5 Drink: £2.40 a pint Pies: £2??? It all adds up, and for some it can be too expensive. That said, I have managed to convince 2 people to go to the Stirling cup match, and hopefully this will lead to me getting along more people for matches. If Caley helped us at all, by allowing student booking over the phone (or internet) for home matches, then I would consider trying to get people up North for a day out, but at the moment, as it stands, it's too much of a hassle, and is money I cannot afford.
  17. I think this would be a terrible idea. Dargo is by far our best striker, and unless he wants to leave then I think we should keep ahold of him no matter what. Why would we want Darren Mackie...cannot ever remember him doing anything worthwhile for Aberdeen or any other club he was at. Keep Dargo, and send Bayne packing to be honest.
  18. Yeah Scott I noticed that, however, think it might be worth the while to keep them shirts away from ICT alltogether.... I don't know why, I just get a feeling.
  19. Hey, great idea, nice site. However, got a point to make that I am suprised hasn't been done yet. Since ICT are only 12 years old, the shirts that you have under our name aren't of ICT (at least the 86 one anyway), they are one of the two teams before we merged. Thought I would point that out!
  20. You must be kidding if you want to drop Brown after one bad game.....
  21. It's nothing to do with it being blocked. Just always kills the connection.
  22. I was on the BBC site at the time, and for some reason my uni computer doesn't like this site. Still think it is unfair!
  23. Going from this page, it seems that in the space of 5 days we play 3 games. Surely this is mightily unfair on us. Could this be some underlying punishment for living in Inverness? Play at home, then away, then at home again in the space of 5 days? That is...quite frankly...bullshit.
  24. Hold on, do we not play St Mirren on the 1st of January as well?

    Dargo & Bayne

'on this service issue. i noticed at the yinted match that practically 95% of blacks passes where backwards!! seems to be a lot of negativity seeeping into the side.....' Think I would call it Barry "Spongebob Squarepass" Ferguson syndrome really.
