Congrats Denzil and mrs. denzil :021: Anyone know his name? Hopefully he'll go on to break his dad's scoring record! Congrats again
-
I thought he looked amazing pre-season but never lived up to the expectation he set of himself. But then again just cos a player plays well in highland league friendlies doesn't mean he's got what it takes at SPL level. Disappointed with Brew for not giving him a chance, but like many others I'm not overly disappointed with the news. Good luck Deano :022:

Hang on- Yes he's a complete tw*t... but 2 titles in 2 seasons and they're top at the moment.. you can't argue with that. And they've reached the last 16 of europe the last two seasons, I don't think Celtic have ever reached the 2nd round twice in a row in the Champs League (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). I don't think anyone can say he's making Celtic a worse team!

That would be a real waste imo. I thought Markus was brilliant when he came and Brew should at leat give him a chance when he's back to fitness

Spot on mate. I couldn't believe his comments after the match, "every decision went against us". Aye right, Proc's red card certainly helped ict ( :024:) And every time Scott McDonald hit the deck he got a free-kick (this isnt having a go about the red card btw I agree with that decision). And a few times we didnt get decisions were I thought 'if that were scott mcdonald going down he'd have got one) And I can't remember how many times I heard 'only the OF would get that decision' . I'm not saying the ref was all againts ict, but to me it seemed the vast majority of any 50-50 decisions went Celtic's way. Accept defeat Gordon! Strawberry blonde- yer havin a laugh :015: :015: :015:

Wo ho ho, He's magic! You know... You'll never get past Grant Munro :015:

Aye for Celtic, but what about for us? Do you reckon he's good enough to be Ike's no. 2 ? :024: Could certainly learn a thing or two from Ike :blah01: Brilliant Fraser but lets see him keep it up, but his turn around in form has been amazing. 3 clean sheets in his last 4, and the game he didnt keep one in was against Celtic, the champions and into last 16 of European cup, and we won the game anyway, and he pulls off a stunning save like that. Broonie seemed to make a stunning save almost every game though, so lets see Ikey keep it up. But wow well done! :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: And handling on crosses :clapping03: No doubt on who was the better keeper yesterday!

yeh... wat i meant was... Comin out of games in the past i've thought that was alright but it was like a feckin library at the home end!! Today I came out thinkin that the performance on and off the pitch was superb.

Today was easily the best atmosphere at any ICT game I've been at by a mile! At one point I looked around and the whole North Stand was singing. Never happened before. This is the first time coming out of a game where I'm proud to be a Caley Thistle fan, at times we outsung Celtic. Its about time we did that every game. Well done everyone :clapping03: :clapping03: :021:

ICT 4-3 CELTIC Niculae 20 Riordan 80 Rankin 44 Vennegoor 85 Cowie 45 McGeady 92 McAllister 93 Rory Mac off the bench to win over doubters! yeh thats gonna happen... I say 2-1 Celtic, They'll score first, Niculae equalise then they'll score a sickening injury time winner

What I find strange is they leave with ten minutes to go, then when they get to their cars, they just have to sit there and wait for the guy in front to come out and move his car. So instead of sitting in the stadium watching the game, they're sitting in their car listening to the radio for ten minutes.

I thought he had, but theres def. someone who scored a few in the first div. but then never scored an spl goal. keogh maybe?

as in John 'Former ICT manager' Robertson!? Is he still at Derry?
-
Absolutely agree. I seem to be the only one to note this in a match report (on my site). Marius flick on was brilliant. Him and Dennis are brilliant together, but imo we need a good goalscoring midfielder, as both Marius and Dennis seem very keen to lay the ball off, Marius obviously with his head (I cant remember how many times I heard Brew shout 'hit marius!' to Fraser from goal kicks on sat.) While Dennis seems intent on taking everything on his chest, usually laying someone off. Goalscoring midfielders at ICT? Cowie and Wilson obv. but they're both wingers. Black/Duncan/McBain hardly prolific. Richie Hart anyone? Although having said that I'm pretty sure Richie hasn't scored a competetive goal since we were promoted. January signing Brew! But what about moving Duncan back just in front of the back four, then having someone just behind Marius and Dennis. I doubt its gonna happen but for me everythings pointing to Richie Hart.

imo we need to re-sign mcguire for the rest of the season- can't believe pars didn't want him! As far as centre-backs go, ICT are in trouble. I would imagine that following his performances this season, Pars will want McGuire back. Watt should be away back to swansea, and Caff claims he's off to partick. I would have said we need one centre back to come in minimum, but if we're gonna lose 3, that means FOUR MINIMUM Mr. Brewster!!! And maybe a loan deal for Stevie Thompson would be good.

A few of my m8s, who are unlucky enough to support county, insist that a Celtic scout came to Victoria park to watch cowie a couple of season ago. In the unlikely event that that was true, it could be celtic that are after him now. I doubt it, but then again with his form would he really be out of his depth at Celtic? Cowie could get into say the Hibs side just now, and as the Tic fans reminded us, they are 'Celtc's feeder club' :004:

Ross County chairman Roy MacGregor says **** Campbell paid for leading the Division Two table without playing the club's traditional stylish football ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WTF? County, stylish football? Who are they kidding? :rotflmao: So I suppose this is the same stylish football played by Scott Leitch, Alex Smith and Neale Cooper? Absolute joke. ICT can lay claim to playing some great football, especially under Brewster, but also the Wilson-Ritchie-Bingham front 3 must have been terrifying for Div. 1 defenders in 03/04. Adams is right about one thing though- If he wanted County's pre-Campbell football to continue, they'd be in Division 3 next season! And I don't think thats where Campbell was taking them. :016:

By looking at denzil's 99 goals in 222 games, you can see on average he scores a goal every 2 and a quarter games. So, if he's netted four in three games, that would suggest he wont score for another... 7 games. So, he should have 100 by 24th November St Mirren at home. Then again, in the last three games, he's averaged 1 and a third goal every game, so he could have 110 by then :016: I suppos these stats could give you an infinite number of possibilties as to when he'll get his 100. Just wondering... Do you think Denzil knows or even cares he's on 99? And what is more important to him, how many ICT goals he's scored, or how many career goals he's scored. Denzil for Scotland anybody :016: :004:

Stewart was banned for standing.

If you click the link its all explained there. Stewart is a teenage fan who was given a lifetime ban from attending ICT matches.

Just worked out Brew and CC's last 30 games in management... Christie- Won 10, Drawn 10, Lost 10 (Points- 40) Brewster- Won 2, Drawn 11, Lost 17 (points- 17) So why is everyone hailing Brewster as the returning hero? Am i the only one that thinks losing CC was a real blow? CC 5 times as many wins as Brewster Lost nearly half as many games Over twice as many points Christie has won one third, Brewster has won one fifteenth.

Fraser Tokely Watt Munro Hastings/Morgan Duncan Black Sutherland Cowie Wilson Niculae SUBS: Malkowski, McGuire, Brewster, Bayne, Hart, Rankin, Vigurs. Complicated 4-2-3-1 formation for me. Back four, with Blackie and Russell sitting in front, 3 man midfield, Baz and Zander out wide, Marius as a lone striker, to be replaced by Brewster at some point.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...wed/6981358.stm Bullen explaining why he didn't come to TCS. I know the name but not the player. Is he actually any good? Have we missed out here, or is Phil McGuire just as good?
