Why such negativity? Yes we have talked about it for years, but this is the first time I have actually see it get to this stage. If it doesn't go ahead it will be because the planning or licences aren't granted and not anything to do with the football club. I don't think the aim is to make it exclusive in any way and while I don't imagine we would see Social Club prices, I don't think they would make them ridiculous as that would defeat the purpose of offering a fans facility. Premier concourses are a fairly new concept and if it all goes to plan we would be one of the first grounds in Scotland to have one. Seems worth pursuing in my opinion.

I think that this is still at the very early planning stages, but if it does go ahead it will be for home fans only as you will have to go through a home turnstile to access it. As far as I'm aware it will therefore be open to all match day ticket holders, whether season tickets or single match day tickets and this will include children. It looks like a great initiative, so let's hope the relevant authorities agree and give it the green light. Well done to those who have been working behind the scenes to get this to the planning stage. It is hoped that this could be open by the start of the season which would be amazing if it can be achieved.
  4. Just thought you might want to tune in if you haven't already. On right now
  5. I'm sure plenty will agree Gringo, but I am equally as sure that it will easily sell out. Not really my cup of tea, but I think I might have a daughter who will want to go.
  6. Having this the day before Westlife makes perfect sense to fully utilise the venue. I think that they will sell out very quickly as they are restricted to 6000 tickets for the Friday night. ?25 is a reasonable ticket price too, so I think this will be a very popular event.

    SPL

Fixtures will be announced today at 9am, so it won't be long before we have our rightful place in the SPL.

    Kyle Allison

Delighted for Kyle - All the best
  9. Thank you Wyness 101 and the others who have now been in touch. I will get back to you all when we have some things organised but the open day/night will be a definite.
  10. No I wasn't surprised at all.
  11. The silence is deafening in my PM box. All gone quiet - strange that. Asking for help seems to have that effect on people.
  12. I have noted the Stirling Albion event for a few seasons now and the Trust have talked about doing something along these lines. Unfortunately all of these things take time to organise (much more than you might realise). We have set aside a planning day next month and I will raise this suggestion then, but it would help if we had some volunteers to join a sub committee if it went ahead. Any offers by PM please. Also if you have any ideas you would like us to consider, (either fundraising or just for fun) we are happy to discuss them, so just drop me a note by PM with your ideas. Our Trust board consists of a core of only 7/8 people so with some assistance we could do much more, so please get in touch if you would like to be involved, this might just be 1 event, a volunteer as required for various things or something more formal. I look forward to hearing all your thoughts and suggestions Oh and if you haven't done so already, then press the subscribe button below to become a member of the Supporters Trust
  13. Great news indeed. I am sure that we will manage to find something to moan about, but not sure if it can be catering RiG as the issues are already being addressed. Please to see Orion back involved with the club and it does suggest a better working relationship with Orion over the period.
  14. I think you will find that this is no rumour. I believe the decision has been taken to pass the armband onto Richie Foran
  15. Welcome back GTWB - you have been missed. Manager - I'm going to recommend Scotty for this position, maybe a bit obvious Head Coach - Maimie - she has definitely got the best head (well hair anyway) for the job. Fitness Coach - Gringo Jnr - after walking over 200 miles from Ayr, I think he qualifies PR Consultant - Reliably Informed - rarely wrong Boot Room - Dalneigh Caley Boot Room - Miss ICT Boot Room - Renegade Jnr
  16. Great, that should seal it then
  17. I didn't actually edit the post, but I'm not totally comfortable with reports from the pub on a Friday night. Surely everyone is entitled to a private life. I know that Ryan would like to sign a new contract and negotiations are underway, but it will depend on the outcome of these negotiations as to whether or not a deal is done. As far as I know Roy's contract negotiations are at the same stage. I think both will eventually sign. I wouldn't like to lose either of them and Ryan has has a fantastic season. I therefore hope that the club dig deep to hang on to him. If we were to bring back Michael Fraser as a number 2 to Ryan, I wouldn't have a problem. I think that Ryan would be a great mentor to Ikey. Remember Mark Brown is still warming the bench, so could he come back?
  18. Ryan seems to have a thing for signing body parts, only it wasn't foreheads he was signing later on Saturday night lol
  19. they not playin on sat? or injured? Bit of both. Great to see them though.
  20. Grant also brought the cup to the Drumossie on Saturday night. But Sunday kind of passed me by too, so I know how you feel. For those of you who remember or who attended, we had an open night last season. Terry Butcher is really keen we do it again, but maybe through the day. The next time we have a Trust/Club meeting we will try to set a date for this. I would hope that we could use that day to have a chance to have a photo taken with the cup. I'm sure the staff would be very accomodating, but they are vastly reduced in numbers and have a mountain of work to do to prepare for next season, so if you can hang on, we'll try to organise something, so that people do get a chance to hold and have a photo taken with the cup.
  21. Looked like there were more going out today, looks like they were done in batches
  22. You are very funny DC. None of us have any idea who it may be, but I'm sure it will be a fun day anyway. Lots going on so I wouldn't miss it for the world. I'll go down early and enjoy the party. I really hope you are stuck in the pub missing a fantastic show.
  23. I know where it is, but I'm not telling lol. Worth looking for though. I only have an early proof, so I'm looking forward to getting the final version. I believe it looks pretty good
