This is a neat wee thing which fits into any headphone socket. They have about a 30m range, so if you really wanted you could have the same music playing all over the house from one source. They are battery operated, but most come with a car charger. My friend has limousines and he uses them all the time, allowing the people to bring their own music on ipod or mp3 and he tunes it in through the car stereo. Works pretty well.

I know that there is definitely space on the buses, but I don't know how you contact someone at this late stage to arrange it. There are two buses going, but there have been a few call offs due to illness. As far as I know one of those too unwell to travel is Kath, so she isn't going. I'll see what I can find out.

You can use them with anything that has a small headphone socket. You can even use it to play your MP3/ipod through your home stereo. Just tune it in to the best FM frequency and away you go. They are really good and you can use them with lots of different things.

FM Transmitters sell for £30 to £40 in the shops, but you can get them on ebay for around the £6 mark and that includes a car charger in most cases. Just search for fm transmitters. Some of them take a while and come from Japan (they do work though), but I just got 2 from within the UK in a day or two.

HC If you have spoken to smiths and they are happy to have us then that sounds pretty cool. Quite like the restuarant idea, but probably no colours allowed. Is there a Happy Horse type place about there?

I know they are looking at this and have been for some time. Some good suggestions have been raised to get people involved. I think the supporters trust could be involved, but there are restrictions as to what we could do. Best I can tell you for now is that the club are aware that both pre match and half time entertainment would improve the overall day and even possibly get the crowd going. You had spud (the County fan) piper for New Year - what more do you want. :006:

From another point of view, we were going to go away for new year, but stayed at home so that we didn't miss the game. I'll not be happy if it's off. Means I'm working hogmanay nightshift rather than partying somewhere for nothing. :008: :008: It's not often we have a game called off and it's not frosty or anything so I would expect it to go ahead, but under fairly horrendous conditions. -
